Does anyone here know anything about wireless adapters? I have a fairly good Router (Cisco Linksys E1000 v2) connected to my family's computer in the living room. In my room (60 feet away) is my desktop. I just bought a cheap Belkin adapter for $35 yesterday, and can't get it to work consistently/properly. Every 5 min it says on my computer that my internet connection gets reset (can't download anything). The pages load terribly slow, and the download speed is also slow for the short period of time it lets me download. Do you think it would do me any good to just trade in this belkin piece of crap and go with a higher end Cisco product? or am i too far away to get a connection.

i like goldeneye because it's not as predictable. in heroes the only way we ever lose is through non spawning, in goldeneye you never know. too many rounds in a row starts to piss you off though. holding A seems to glitch my dead zone and pick up every crappy gun within a 10 foot radius before it ever starts hacking the console.

I see I wasn't the only one having that problem. It took me up to 5 trys to hack some of those consoles!

i like playing with the NL guys but i feel I have to improve my shooting skills before I add the "NL" to my name first. Being that these guys made a name for themselves, I want to continue to learn and improve my playing level.

Oh, whatever. Get the NL on there! You're capable. We're a friendly group and you should put the NL on regardless of skill... if you want to. Don't let the skill lvl stop you. I put mine on around lvl 16/17 so you're fine. And I was NOT good when I started playing with NL.
And once again, I'm amazed at the sensitivity portion of those settings. I've got my speeds up, but not sensitivity. I don't think I could hold the cursor steady at all w/ them that high! Wow!!!

LOL.....RDB I've seen you in action...that's why I am practicing so I can hold my own....You know what? I'll consider putting in the NL in my screen name. On a side note, has anyone had a problem with their Wii lately when it comes to loading a game disc and then getting an error message telling you to eject the game and turn off the Wii??

That error message sounds like my wife, lol. I've never had that problem, does your disc have any scratches on it? The only problem I had was when Nintendo had an update that messed up my Wii and I had to send it in but they fixed it for free.

the disc doesn't have any scratches at all. It has happened once a few weeks ago. Today, it happened three times in a row. I had to unplug my Wii for 15 minutes. It worked but after i played two online matches, I left the group because i was making dinner. I came back 10 minutes later to see the same error message. I hope this isn't because my Wii is overheating.
@Urban, now that I think about I think this was the same thing that happened to my Wii with that weird update nintendo sent out. If I remember correctly that update was about a year ago so I'm thinking you might have to give nintendo a call on this. You will have to tell them that this error if from the update nintendo sent out awhile back, and when you do send it in all of your save data from your games will be erased so you might want to save em on an SD card.
Just looked it up and it was the update 4.2 that might be causing your problem. They should fix it for free as long as you havent done any modding to your system.

I thought so, but I wasn't sure. I'm glad I have the Vargen now. I'm able to stick with you guys just a little better. Sorry, though; I just upped my sensitivity and turn speed, so I have to get used to it still. I'm dying more times than I ought to be.
Here are the new settings I just added. After getting used to them for a few games, It's really helped out a lot. Of course, it's still unfamiliar to me, so I have some practicing to do. I'll probably up the settings again after a while, until I'm finally all the way, as a few of you guys are now. The Vargen is a huge upgrade, too. I'm starting to see why you all love the Terralite so much, though. It's still good on large maps, even after I have the Vargen
I actually never liked the vargen. I lvld it and shelved it. Went back to the terralite almost exclusively until 41 and the anova. It felt like a LONG time with the terra too.
GG tonight with dooms and mysterious Rom and Viper. I enjoyed them a bunch and wish I could've stuck around longer.
I overhauled my loadouts when I came on today so I was confusing myself when picking them and switching mid game... very annoying, but overall I think I like them more now. I need a few more hours of play time before I'm sure. Most surprising... last act actually got me 4 kills in each of the archives matches. I certainly miss snap shot, but laod is very nice in those close quarters!
Well, the Vargen certainly works a lot better than the Terralite at close range, I think, and it's still not bad at long range, either, but it doesn't have nearly the accuracy of the Terralite. I do like it better, though because of its larger magazine. However, You pretty much have to use the Speed Loader with it, since it takes FOREVER to reload the Vargen. I'm still switching back and forth between the two, though, because they each have ups and downs. Against NL, I think I'll stick with the Vargen, since it's more powerful overall.
Oh, also, GG with everyone tonight, Tang, (I don't know who you are, actually....) Gameday, RDB, and everyone else I forgot. It's much more fun playing with you guys while I get used to my new settings.
