Topic: GoldenEye 007 (Wii) Match-ups

I hate using smoke on my sniper loadout with the Thermal Scope, I feel so cheap.

Also, it seems when I did do it, they were still able to kill me through the dense smoke cover even though they weren't high enough leveled to actually use the Thermal Scope... so yeah, it doesn't necessarily work...

Been playing around with my settings and this Deadzone is annoying me, why is it stuck at 10-10? That's just not good enough, I want it at atleast 0-0.

Maxed out the other stuff (turn speed etc.) and still feels really sluggish... it doesn't feel like there's been any change from before...

Today I was facing a bunch of rank 20 guys who kept trying to camp in archives with shotguns. I completely mowed through them and won with 3 minutes left on the clock. It's nice to remind myself that I'm not actually that bad, I just suck compared to you guys

I just added a silencer to my strauger UA-1. It feels weaker. Do silencers weaken your guns?

Yikes that round was awful for me. RBD kept taking my kills XD I counted the amount of times he killed someone that I was about to. The final number was 6. I'm pretty sure I took some of his kills too though

yep. it usually takes about one extra shot to kill with a silencer.

During the jungle match, this guy started glitching up. He was frozen in place, so I threw a grenade and his body disappeared, but his gun was left floating in midair

you're right, elza- two shots to kill trevelyan with the gambit. i thought guaranteed one shot kills were the one good thing going for it (aside from the sound it makes)... what a piece of crap. it seems like people get fidgity and step out of the way every time i shoot, and then after hearing the missed shot they always stand still and look for me, setting up a perfect shot but i can never fire while that stupid bolt is still clicking. i can't wait to put the toros back in....

livesavedave, you have gotten really, really good. i kept seeing your kill count up in the 40s while mine was in the teens and thought "screw leveling the gambit up, i'm missing out on too much action"! i didn't compete much better with the strata, though. it took a lot to pull out a good kill count in that last match.

congratulations to you too ultima, we've got our first 56 player now. people are going to be streaming out of our matches left and right now.... a lot of people on gamefaqs are complimenting us (ok, you and lifesaver) on our playing tonight over there right now.

Now that Ultima has the Ivana... I'm going to be skrewed if I go up against you! I still need to get back into this before I completely rust out like a bike chain...

But then I'm gonna have to get control of my anger over host quits... ugh, I just can't do it.

thanks rom iam finally glad thats over no more grinding now i can actually have some fun and not worrying about leveling up anymore.well your almost there how much xp do you have left?and for lifesavedave i wanna say i agree with rom you have gotten alot better and congrats on lvl 50 its good to see more active high players on our team and plus we would dominate alot easier.

I am really, really peeved with this game now.

Got a nice streak going... 10 elimination domination over and over... 36 kill streak, no deaths... host quits... I pulled out my disc and flinged it across the room... that dude can go and burn in hell for all I care, this games host system doesn't even qualify as shit, its the equilavent of a shit taking a shit!

Grrrrrrrr... I am never playing with randoms ever again, 'cos they can NEVER take a beating at their own a*se.

Thanks rom and ultima on the compliments. I was playing at work yesterday which has access to a faster internet connection and I think that makes a huge difference. Alot of times at home I feel like i'm a fraction of a second slower than some people while yesterday I felt even or a fraction of a second faster. Also it helps to be playing ALL day. I was on a roll though and was feeling pretty good. Had my first 2000xp game where I went 50/7. Later I even went 53/8. Oh and I broke my old kill streak. I went 35/0 on a heros match when the game ended. Went 29/1 twice on conflict, one of those games I was 29/0 when the level 11 guy killed me ruining my perfect match. So yeah it was a pretty good day.

I just tried out last act of defiance last night and found that it was very useful. I actually couldn't believe how many kills i was getting off of it. It worked especially well when there was 2-3 guys holed up somewhere. IT's like you get to go in there guns blazing AND be cooking a grenade in case you die. I think I got a double kill twice.

@demon i'm sorry your having such bad luck, that would completely ruin the game your right. Thats to bad about your 36 streak. Good job though!

Sounds like I missed soom awesome games yesterday. Its nice to see your all leaving me behind. Before you know it rdb will pass me.

EDIT: I'll be coming on now, its time for me get back into the grinding sessions and p*ss off as many as possible within the 10 minute time frame.

ouch. every time i got a 30 streak all i could think was "don't quit, don't quit!". it kind of sucks that you have to feel lucky to have your data saved at the end of the match every time you do well. i've been having trouble leveling up the gambit because of that. well, at least we know you got to 36!

Finally got to level 22. I'm trying to grind out a level a day. OH, and I played local multiplayer with my buddy, used the Spec-R, IT KICKS @$$!!!!

Got going with some nice kills with Lifesaver in Docks and the host quits... that's 900+ xp I'll never see again... sigh...

Who's bright idea was it to have Host Quit in the first place? You dumbasses!!

I'm getting MW:R back... there's less BS in that game. Tata GoldenEye and Eurocom, you ruined it with Host Quits... _{I'm not going to sell it though, just never gonna play it without an NL host}

I will phone EuroCom and tell them they are a disgrace. They should NEVER of been given the privelege to make this game, get someone who knows how to do it right!
