@NinjaAceTrainer I think the damage cap is 9999999. Or at least that's the highest number that the game can properly display. Quite easy to breach that in the postgame with well-built offensive builds.
Yeah to go the most beyond the damage tracker, you need Blades like Zenobia, Herald, Poppi, and the secret Blade from end of Chapter 7 that's super OP for Chain Attacks.
Metroid, Xenoblade, EarthBound shill
I run a YouTube/Twitch channel for fun. Check me out if you want to!
Please let me know before you send me a FC request, thanks.
I found the cliff for the event of the little girl blade with her white bear and saw the event, but now, to unlock the level 2 ring i need to go to guura at night and see an event or something....
But i did that (go to torigoth at night) and cannot find any trace of bond talk or event (
@maelis It's at Abble's Fountain, on the East side of Torigoth (or Guura?), which is near where you need to go for Vess' quest. By the way, which language do you speak if you don't mind me asking?
thank you again i Think i went here when i searched the city but didn't find an event though:(( Maybe it is because i'm actually at the very beginning of the chapter 7 and a "very important person" is missing in my party..maybe i need this to unlock it^^)
Maybe it's the same for the other vess quest : i tried changing time 1 hour at a time and still didn't get a marker
Not at all: i'm french and i'm playing the game in japanese which is why i don't really know the names of the places or characters as their name seem to be often different! .
@maelis Yes. I believe that is the reason. I tried to continue the Vess quest during Chapter 7 as well and found out I couldn't. You can check the party requirements in the quest log.
@maelis Yes, that sounds right. The "very important person" is listed as necassary for most if not all blade quests, so I'm afraid you need to get them back if you want to progress with those quests. So can you understand French, English and Japanese? Tres bien (my French is quite limited)!
Just your everday ninja, who may also be an ace trainer.
Got to chapter 8 and I'm pulling back to do sidequests and try to get rare blades (I'm not going to New Game plus anytime soon so this will be my only play through aside from the DLC). So far I: Feel sorry for the blade life cycle, am confused by the "The power that was granted to Mythra since birth", am confused about the land of the dead (why does it exist?), feel Malos has become more flat of a character while Mythra has grown, have the worst luck about getting rare blades, Laughed about the xenosaga references and yet been interested in how it all influences this series. Also not gonna lie, I squee'ed at the sight of Morag with no hat on. (I mean Melph-sama, I'm playing in Japanese and laughing about a few translation differences -Sheeba/Rinne gives me life. I mean she is a horrible stereotype but she is so over the top I just smile.)
I think that was vague enough not to need spoiler tags. If anybody wants to explain the land of the dead and what core crystals are (organic machines/nanomachines on steroids?) given what the aegis core crystals are (that makes sense to me...mostly), by all means please chime in.

@Ryu_Niiyama Core Crystals are organic, think about the blade life cycle. They are pretty much just just magic rocks, think the gems from Steven Universe if you follow that. As for the land of the dead, you'll see why it exists soon enough. Good luck with your rare blade hunting by the way.
@NinjaAceTrainer I think that I'm thrown more by what the aegis (all three of them) actually are (and why blades lose their memories or at least what they send to the aegis) that I feel like there is a line being blurred. That is why I keep thinking organic machines (like nanoprobes from star trek but if they used primarily organic components somehow...that explains regen powers and the guldo kinda sorta. Which if the "ether" allows for matter composition that would make everything click as then that would explain how core crystals...grow/have a life cycle.)
Xenogames are always magical science on steroids so there is always a semi logical explanation, but I'm getting a little tripped up because of the two classes of core crystals (I'm also not done with the game so that may have something to do with it lolol). I've always liked the Xeno mythos (and it makes more sense to me than most mythology/religion) so I like to puzzle through the new pieces.
@Tsurii good to know I'm at least on the right path. I likely will pad this out for another 2 weeks to see how far I can get on the side quests and named enemies (saw a level 100 dude and I was like "NOPE") and then barrel through to the end. Aside from a few issues that I always have with monosoft games (and some of the character designs) I've enjoyed this romp.
