Anybody knows? I can't find anything on the web except the fact that they are available in Japan. I really want them but I'm not going to buy another console just to have them...
I used to be a ripple user like you, then I took The Arrow in the knee
The Splatoon Joy-Con will be released in Australia on December 1st and had only been announced recently, so I'm pretty sure that the red Joy-Con will follow at some stage in the future.
You can always import the separate Joy-Con from Play-Asia if you're impatient.
Porygon did nothing wrong.

Yes I think they look better. They also are more versatile than the "double colors" one. I can't see myself playing Skyrim with the neon or Splatoon ones but those would be perfect both for Skyrim and for other games too (I mean, they are bundled with a Super Mario game!)
I think tey would be at the very least ok with ANY game! I like red consoles, I had a red 3DS and I miss its look now that I have a blue New 3DS... But I want Snes games so I have no choice... And blue is not bad either
As far as I know there are no current plans to release them on their own in Europe, however, don't let this out you off too much, as I've just received mine from Amazon Japan for only 9% more than the price of the standard on in the U.K. (including postage, import tax and everything else).
And they only took three days to be delivered from Japan too, which is pretty crazy.
Navigating the Amazon website is very easy, and there's even the option to switch the website to English.
I'm not sure how things would work out in Euros, but as a UK resident, I'm really quite gobsmacked by how cheap and painless the process was. Way better than experiences with play-asia.
So I'd thoroughly recommend Amazon Japan if you're interested. Please ask if you have any questions.
