Topic: Which Wii U Games Would You Want To See Get Ported/Remastered To The NX

NX has seen a lot of rumours lately. There's been talks of Wii U games being ported to the NX which I think could help the NX's launch with Nintendo only being able to develop so many games on it's own. This is one of the rumours which I think has possiblilities to turn out true as I believe games like Smash Bros and Mario Maker will get ported to the NX.
So which Wii U games would you want to see get ported over to the NX and what would you add to those games to make it different/better on the NX Version.

None/All. Just have Backwards Compatibility. (Depending on how you see it, that could mean all or none)

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Well I think Zelda 2016 and Smash Wii U are definitely happening, but other realistic poosiblities:

-NES Remix
-DKC Tropical Freeze
-Splatoon
-Hyrule Warrior
-Pokken
-Xenoblade

I don't get this. At all, as I've gone to great pains to explain in the other thread. The games (apart from Zelda and Star Fox but the latter is literally only a couple of weeks away) are already out, a lot of them heavily discounted. If you have any real interest in them at all you surely have other more sensible and realistic options to play them than hoping a system we know nothing about gets them all ported in a short amount of time.

I mean NES Remix? Why, for who? Pokken? Hyrule Warriors, 2 platforms not enough for that game or something?

I don't get this. At all.

that's not the point of the thread

All the Wii U games I really want to play:

Wonderful 101
Splatoon
Xenoblade Chronicles X
Zelda U

Currently Playing: Steamworld Heist, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Tales of Graces F

@DefHalan: Nintendo will most probably go the ways of x86 architecture with the NX because they hardly have any other options, meaning there will not be any backward compatibility.

@Kuhang: Xbox made that same change but the Xboc One still has Backwards Compatibility

@DefHalan: You are right but you have to remember not every game runs on the Xbone or will run on on the console, atleast not 100% or to level where Nintendo will want to and If that's the case I don't think Nintendo will opt to do that. Or the Same thing that is hapenning now with Xbone will be done that is selected titles will be available. But also could be the case of how powerful the NX is. But I don't think we'll be seeing Wii U backwardS compatibility with the NX.

@Kuhang: and as I have said in other threads. If Nintendo doesn't have some form of Backwards Compatibility then it shows how they are behind the times and not looking forward or taking digital game releases seriously.

@DefHalan: or they're prioritizing ease of development/ports. PS4 don't have PS3 BC and it's doing fine.

@WebHead: PS4 is the only current gaming machine I can think of that doesn't have backwards compatibility. The lack of BC is not the reason why PS4 is doing well, but the addition of BC for Xbox One is one reason why it is on the rise.

@DefHalan: if you consider selling much less than your main competitor rising then sure. Even without BC Sony's online is pretty modern, crossbuy and all that.

@WebHead: Sony has been doing well with their online store, but I doubt cross-buy is one of the reasons the PS4 is doing well. Not that many people have Vita

@DefHalan: I'm sure there may be some kind of upgrade program with nx. I just wouldn't count on BC, at least right away. They wouldn't be doing Wii u ports if BC was a for sure thing. I dunno what to tell you.

@WebHead: Ports are just a rumor and I could see GOTY editions or some games currently in the pipeline getting dual releases. We don't really know anything about the NX. Still a chance it doesn't even replace the Wii U.

@WebHead: I know what the point of this thread is, thanks for your concern, and my comment is still valid. Surely if you really want to play these games then why are you hoping for a port? I can understand wanting certain PS/Xbox games to be ported to PC if you don't play on consoles but I struggle to imagine that there are a plethora of reasons why someone who desperately wants to play Xenobalde Chronicles X for instance hasn't just got a Wii U already and is instead holding out for an improbable port.

^There are regular posters people on this forum who don't own a Wii U (I find it funny when they complain about Wii U games they haven't played) so they fit the criteria for this thread of wanting Wii U ports.

-The legend of Zelda
-Lost Reavers ( definitive non free to play full title or eshop title )
-Smash Bros ( better graphics and frame-rate , 4 new characters and a lot of new stages , better and tweaked amiibo integration, new game mode )
-Pikmin 4 ( which will be a simultaneous wii u and nx release along with zelda)
Also according to many rumors , PS4 games can be super easily ported to NX , as such , while finalizing or even creating the NX a while back , Nintendo could have began creating games for it but on a PS4 Devkit , which will buy them some time and free their schedule thus creating less game drought, simply by porting these created games when the time is right. I also think that a Splatoon 2 would be waaay better than a port of the original one.

@Megapokepaul: i hope Lost Reaver is a well designed F2P game, where it wouldn't make sense to package it like that.
