Bluetooth and 4k res. I don't care about bezel. Not sure why everyone gets so worked up about that on all devices. I had the Samsung S7 Edge and hated the edges... I like a little bezel.
I want a better dock. I dislike the dock so much I got an adapter so I don't have to slide it in and out of the dock. I am proactive of my gaming devices and even though it's unlikely, it's not impossible to scratch the screen. I'd also like a way to charge the Switch while in table top mode without a 3rd party stand or accessory.

Yea, I just think a power upgrade to the point of perhaps being able to do 4k upscaling on the TV. It would have to reach the power level of the original PS4 to do that, but I think it'll be easily doable in a year or two, perhaps even with only a 50-dollar price bump if you can sell it without the dock (most people would have one already).
Is the latest Tegra capable of 4k upscaling? Not native 4k obviously or even checkerboarding, but just upscaling?
Im more concerned this guy wants Nvidia to suddenly develop a 7nm Tegra chip out of nowhere and also make a chip capable of doing what the GTX 1070 does (£379 with 8GB RAM just for a rather large card) that doesnt cost damn near £600.

I don't like a bezel-less Switch. Bezels keep the focus on the screen, clearly differentiating it from the background. In my opinion screens with no bezels aren't too important.
Some people are asking for things that aren't possible while keeping the actual price point, and increasing the price is a big mistake that I don't think Nintendo will make.
I don't see a dock that increases performance ever happening because if the difference between docked and portable mode is too extreme it'll be a problem to develop games for it. and nobody wants a game that play fine on TV and awfully while portable... Portability is the great selling point of the Switch, making it irrelevant is a stupid move, in my opinion.
While increasing the memory to 120GB would be awesome, the spike in price would be too high. I can see improvements to battery life a GPU/CPU power and perhaps 6GB of RAM in a couple of years. The X2 is, probably, the next logical step, though many people will complaint because it is outdated 2017 technology... Like always, it doesn't matter what Nintendo do, there will always people not satisfied.

Mine isn't so much hardware, but OS and Account. I just want my saves to be tied to my account and be able to upload to a cloud, just in case my Switch bricks. That and achievements. Maybe the first point will come with the online subscription.
If I had to be pushed on hardware, built in mic functionality, gorilla glass screen and of course mmoooare power and storage. One can dream.
Parity with the competition. The Joy-Con's are complete garbage. They definitely need revision and an increase in size. Increased internal memory. Scrap the dock and screen, make it a proper home console, not some Wii U Part Deux. If it was a home console they could use discs instead of limited capacity, expensive cartridges. Allow the use of HDD's. I've a 500GB HDD connected to my Wii U and it cost a fraction of an equivalent Micro SD card.
Or if they insist on keeping the screen, then full HD, better battery life.
The Switch is missing so many basic features like a browser, apps and Virtual Console. But those can be patched in and don't need a new Switch to do so.

I personally disagree with most of your points (I completely understand where they're coming from though) but this one particularly.
I hated how loud my Wii U was spinning a disc to the point that I often paid more to have digital copies of games just because they were quieter. Off screen play while my wife watched TV was great but as soon as one of those discs started to spin...
Switch game cards also have other big long term advantages over discs. They should be almost indestructible over time (whereas optical media will always, eventually, degrade), they have the potential to become much cheaper over time and they have the potential to increase to capacities well beyond those of discs.
The bigger thing to want to change about the game cards is Nintendo's business practices and wish to control production. The technology itself is a big step forwards.
Prediction-the next Switch revision will be a smaller, sturdier model, maybe portable only, maybe even with fixed buttons instead of Joycons, to replace 3DS. If there is a power upgrade it will be 3/4 years away and still well behind the PS5 and the next Xbox.
Personally speaking I'm not fussed about the bezels. More storage is a good idea though I wouldn't upgrade for that. I'd prefer more battery life over more power.
@Wikoogle Your ideas are well-thought-out and that's basically why I think that Nintendo would not follow them, because Nintendo has become so stingy with cheap overpriced hardware. All of your ideas are very easy to do and should be done except the use of 7 nm technology, Tegra X2 (16 nm) is more likely if Switch Plus comes out in late 2018.
The things that really don't work at the moment are
a) battery life, less than 3 hours is ridiculous;
b) lack of power, many games are sub 720p even docked;
c) the joycons design;
d) 32 GB of storage and no Ethernet port in dock are a joke.
The battery life and lack of power should be solved with Tegra X2, apparently. The screen would look nicer and would drain less power if it was OLED. The joycons and the grip could be much better.
Notice it's ergonomic rounded shape and the rubber ovals on the back meant for better grip. It's only 219 grams, which is far less than the 398 grams the Switch weighs with it's joycons attached. The only thing I would change about the design is to switch positions of the thumbstick and d-pad, and probably improve the thumbsticks themselves to something better.
If Nintendo where to release a Switch shaped like that and with such low weight, then I would probably buy it despite already owning a regular Switch.

He doesn't say when though. He could mean it should come out 2020. That would be fine with me, since it would meant I got two years of use out of my current one. Another benefit from a smaller chip is that it will produce less heat, and because of that you need less cooling, which makes the whole console lighter.
Easily giving more power. I'm not even a graphics guy but it amazes me what this little console can do with a Tegra x1 not even running at full speeds. If they can die shrink and put an X2 in there. I don't think devs will have any excuses then when it comes to modern tech.
Maybe the option to use 2 Switch at the same time to emulate Wii U games in a probably VC eshop games. One docked on TV and the other portable. Maybe this could be more expensive but it could be an available option to show Wii U games bought on Switch VC if sometime it could be real. (The DS games on Wii U have many options that could be used also in Wii U games on Switch).
And a update to use Wiimotes, Balance board, etc.
Me gusta jugar videojuegos. Soy de México. Sorry my english grammar. I love the Virtual Console, party and fighting games too.
I would replace the Game card slot with a microSD card slot or 2.
Dropping Game cards/disks and going full digital copy is the way forward.
Unifying the Nintendo Eshop, so if you do not have to repurchase a digital game on a Switch if you already have done so on the Wii U.
A dock that can support Wii equipment. This will open up the marked for digital copies of Wii games on the Switch. But you can only play them when the console is docked.

I honestly hope they don't change the type of SOC. That would mean developers would have to make it work on 3 different configurations.
I'd just want to see improvements in tech as prices drop. A faster processor, more RAM, OLED screen and more internal storage. In a couple of years they could do all that at the same price as the current model.
