Topic: what happen if i put my switch on sleep mode and i dont use it over a week.

I still care with my Switch so I turn off the device after finish playing and I plug off TV cable from electricity after playing.
I never put my TV and consoles in Standby mode.

@Snatcher I generally just leave my system on in sleep mode, and never bother to turn the system off.

The opposite is true for my PS5 though, where I always turn that off, unless my controller is recharing. The power went out a couple of times in the past by surprise, and it killed one of my PS4 consoles.

@VoidofLight no kidding about the power outage? You've got me thinking I need to shut off my PS5 properly now 😅 i always have it in sleep mode.

@Snatcher The hard drive crashed because it was on when the power went out. Died on Christmas, so I had to wait a while to get a new one.

@Losermagnet It was just my old place kept having outages for some reason or another, despite the lines being underground.

What happens is your switch will be on sleep mode and you won’t be using it for a week.
