Trying not to buy anything else while I still have this massive backlog, but I don't think I can resist a Switch version of Vampire Survivors. One of the most addictive games ever made.
Besides, now I can play it co-op with people!

@NintendoByNature I played it via PC GP. It's a little slow to start, but the rate at which you progress is great. There's so much to unlock. So many secrets.

Is that the one about the organ player who travels from settlement to settlement, building a following through his playing and helpful deeds, or is it the one about the two children exploring a bewitched forest and you end up having to sacrifice organs along the route to find your way back again?
PS. Vampire Survivors is only about £1.80 on the S.African eshop if you haven't jumped on the hype yet.
Been looking through some of the Switch games on my radar, some older games that I skipped out on at the time and a few upcoming ones too, which I might bring up on here in the future.
One of which being Sonic Frontiers.
I remember around the time of its release that the Switch version suffered from a good dollop of glitches and the overall experience being a little weaker compared to other platforms.
From anyone who's played it recently, has the game improved much through patches?
Anyone here ever used Cheapest Game Store before? I discovered it when looking for deals on Metroid Dread and it has me both incredibly intrigued....and also incredibly suspicious. Pretty much every Switch game (including stuff notoriously on the more expensive end such as mainline Mario and Pokemon games) are going for about €36 max, with a ton of 3rd Party/smaller scale 1st Party titles going for even less (Miitopia is currently about €13 there which is INSANE to me). However, there's just something about the website that feels....off to me. Filters not working, missing image symbols scattered all about the place, it just gives off a very slap-dash vibe to me and one that I'm a bit weary as to whether I should grab something from there or not. If anyone here has used it in the past and can verify whether or not it's a reputable site to buy from, do let me know whenever you can! I'll keep on browsing in the meantime XD

Note that a lot of those prices are more expensive than the best historical sales, so the prices seem at least plausible, but I agree the Miitopia price is a red flag. And apparently people have had trouble actually receiving games or getting refunded...
On a company trust rating website with 1100 ratings, they are scored 1.7/5.
Edit: A lot of the reviews say they are sending hacked account information with the games on the hacked account rather than actual games.
@FishyS Ah yep, that's pretty much exactly what I was fearing (clicked on the page for Fire Emblem Three Houses and my internal alarm bells started blaring the moment I saw the delivery method as 'Official Account'). Cheers for the heads up 👍

I personally not feeling sad to hear new Mario voice is not voiced by Charles Martinet anymore.
I personally already tired with his same catchphrases.
I personally prefer Chris Pratt voice as Mario.
His voice sounds very brotherly as Mario.
@Budda I suppose not...a real shame to see him go especially since he's been such a constant over the last 30 years
It does make me wonder (no pun intended) how often they bring him in to record new lines anyway.
SMBW and WW: Move It seem to have new recordings but before that?
I suppose it would be Odyssey? For Mario at least, because you'll have things like WW: Gold/Get It Together and Luigi's Mansion 3 for those characters.
Point is I wouldn't be suprised if they're still gonna recycle voice lines more often than not and I'm ok with that. But for a game like Wonder then yeah I think new lines are appropriate
And not only will he no longer be the voice of Mario but Nintendo are gonna patch all the other Mario games so Charles’ voice will be replaced with the new guy’s voice too. This is the karma punishment people get for accepting and going to see Chris Pratt as Mario!
I wonder if nintendo will hire one voice actor to replace all the characters Charles voiced or will those characters all get their own unique voice actors?
