check out the review of Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and it graphical/techinal analysis.

I can wait a few more hours to play it for myself. Only get one chance for that 1st impression

Yeah I agree, I can easily see them have the base Switch 2 go back to LCD with the intent of launching a more expensive OLED model a couple years down the line because they know damn well people will double dip.

The OLED model is to Switch what the XL model was to the DS/3DS.

Anyways, Tears of the Kingdom HYPE. I can't wait. Consensus seems to be that they took BotW and improved upon it in every conceivable way, making the former look more like a tech demo.

If Switch 2 goes back to LCD, I... might just wait for the OLED revision. We'll see. I really don't want to go back.

Hmm, that 60 metacritic score for TotK though.

Same individual gave The Callisto Protocol a higher score.

And Arcade Paradise only a 3/10? Alright now I'm personally offended.

The site also gave the calculator app an 8/10.
I think they just had it out for the game before playing it.

Exactly, why try to make something when true perfection has already been reached.

@Grumblevolcano LCD display are cheaper to make then OLED display, a OLED on a handheld device is barely a difference, Switch LCD display is very good, if the sucessor has LCD display is not gonna be the end of the world @Ralizah

@Giancarlothomaz There's a significant difference with the OLED Switch. I'd never go back to one of the LCD models. Not even the Lite, and I used to love that thing.

How much air should you feel coming out of a Switch fan (vent) just idling?

Playing Starlink now docked and feel very little air coming from console.
