Hogwarts Legacy on Low settings on Deck runs and looks about the same as many other Switch games, so I have no doubt it could be a good port, given the right developer.

But after hearing who's handling the port, that's highly unlikely.

Seems the demand for Switch ports exceeds the supply of compentent porting studios, leaving many teams to resort to contracting subpar developers.

This will sort itself out over the next few years. Not only because the free market will naturally produce more competent porting studios to satisfy demand given the success of Switch, but also because Switch 2 will help mask the deficiencies of some of the borderline studios, further expanding the pool of viable development teams to contract.

My gut tells me, all this silence on the switch version of Hogwarts Legacy can't be good. I'm guessing they're staying silent as long as possible to avoid negative press so they can maximize pre-orders, or avoid hurting company shares. ...Maybe they're waiting for TOTK release buzz to settle, but I think they're hiding a turd. I hope I'm wrong, because I want Hogwarts Legacy to work.

how i do charge Combos in Metroid Prime Remastered? is the same as the original, the beam button+ the missile button or they changed here?

@Giancarlothomaz hold down the standard beam button (A) and press the right shoulder button. This won’t work sometimes if you don’t have the necessary abilities unlocked (Super Missle, Ice Spreader, Flamethrower, Wavebuster)

Other than Howgwarts Lacey, The Outer Wilds would might be be the second most wanted. That got pushed back to this summer, I believe? Or still to be announced.

Beyond those two games, I'm can't think of anything else. EDIT: xbox's Hi-Fi Rush would be awesome, but I'm not aware of any plans of that being ported.

Ultra Street Fighter 4. Other than that I can’t think of too much that isn’t an exclusive that I really want on switch. Switch has too many games on deck for me to worry about ports.

Love to play Madworld on the Switch. Never will happen but I enjoyed that game way more than I should lol

Aside from the obvious of another Ace Attorney collection, something like a collection of older Lego games (Indiana Jones, Batman, etc.) would make me exceptionally happy

@old-dad I actually picked up Madworld for about €12 for my refurbished Wii about 3 months ago funnily enough. I haven't started it yet (stuff like NSO and Mario 3D World have gotten in the way lately) but I'm very excited to try it out since I've heard nothing but great things about it!

@Fizza If you like over the top action with some gore you will enjoy it. It's Bayonetta action with MK level finishers lol. Just silly over the top fun

I'm assuming we're just talking 3rd party games? If so, Xenosaga and a bunch of Square Enix games (e.g. Xenogears, Super Mario RPG, FFXIII trilogy, FFVII Remake, 3DS Bravely games, Stranger of Paradise, Nier Replicant) would be at the top for me.

The more of a mess Xbox becomes (see Redfall as the most recent example of Xbox's troubles), the more feasible I see it that some PS exclusivity that appears permanent (e.g. FFVII Remake) is instead a case of not wanting to release Xbox meanwhile the Switch isn't powerful enough so a more powerful Switch existing would result in a release for that Switch.

@Grumblevolcano Thought about that too but my hope is by the time a switch 2 arrives it will receive the "complete" edition of those games.

Tough call, there are many I'd like to have.

Guilty Gear Strive is at the top; arcsystemworks got us Dragon Ball FighterZ years ago, so a port for GGR isn't impossible. Then I'd also like either Child of Eden or Beyond Good & Evil HD from Ubisoft, but their house is in shambles and on fire at the moment. Next we have the Arkham Asylum and Arkham City double pack which has been rumored for years. Lastly I would like to see Sony let slip their exclusivity on Journey and Rez Infinite.

Was this ever announced beforehand?
