And now the marketing campaign is in full swing. I really hope this game does well.

I remember when a certain fool(s) said they were 99.99998% sure that a full Nintendo direct would happen on either June 15 or June 27 of last year. So they were basically parading it around as fact. Not only were they blatantly wrong in every single way, they just made themselves look like bigger idiots who couldn’t accept criticism or being wrong. And nothing has changed.

@TheBigBlue are you refering to Jeff Grubb?

@Giancarlothomaz nah, Jeff Grubb is actually more reliable. That said, his information is still hit or miss. His timing can be off, like the whole Wind Waker Switch thing, but it’s clear he’s been around the industry and has meaningful stuff to share. I was referring to an internet rumour started by a twitter user.

@TheBigBlue I am just the biggest Project Zero/Fatal Frame fan around here 🤣. The remaster of Maiden of Black Water is the best-selling entry so far. I still haven't seen the Mask of the Lunar Eclipse remaster numbers. I hope that the original trilogy is remastered, too. The success of Maiden of Black Water (not the best entry) triggered the Mask of the Lunar Eclipse remaster, so I hope that the adventure continues 😉👍🏻.

Nearing the end of Metroid Prime Remastered. I don't want it to end though cause this game is an absolute masterpiece.

I'll have some time before Zelda hits, so I think I'll play through NSMBU Deluxe, which I picked up in the sales. I've played it before on Wii U, but it's been over 10 years so I think it's time to revisit it.

Then comes Zelda, which will pretty much take up my summer when it comes to gaming.

@IceClimbers Metroid prime is so good. Before I bought Remastered, I’d never touched the prime series. It is absolutely masterful. Those Metroids scare the hell out of me though 😑

@IceClimbers @theBigBlue i hope Nintendo give the same care/love to Metroid Prime 2 e 3 they did with the remaster of Metroid Prime, i imagine the remaster of Metroid Prime 2 looking similar to this, recalling back in 2017 a fan did a Unreal Engine 4 demo of Tallon Overworld and the Metroid Prime remaster visuals was quite similar to this UE4 demo

Just makes me want a remaster of Prime 2 even more. We need it. I'd even be willing to wait longer for Prime 4 if it meant getting remasters of Prime 2 and 3. That's how badly I want this.

@JaxonH me too, remasters of Prime 2/3 with the quality of Metroid Prime Remastered would be a lead up when we wait for Metroid Prime 4 to release

So early on with the Switch I mostly brought games physically. Then in the second half I transitioned to pretty much entirely buying games digitally. Now I don't buy that many games for the Switch, especially more recently and especially when compared to some others on here. But Zelda is coming out soon and it's supposedly a 19GB download......

I have about 25GB of storage left on my 256GB microSD card. Probably going to want to grab a new one fairly soon. The good news is that the price of microSD cards have dropped again. And like I probably said in the early pages of this thread, it's ended up being cheaper than Nintendo including the storage from day 1. My SD card history for the Switch looks something like this:

2017: 64GB for $33AU
2018: 128GB for $52AU
2020: 256GB for $57AU
2023: 512GB for $69AU

Note, that if I had brought a 256GB card from that retailer I got the 32GB card from in 2017 I would've spent $230AU. After buying the 512GB card I'm going to have to get soon I'll have spent $211AU. So yeah, yet another example of why "future proofing" is a dumb strategy. Buy what you need now because rapid exponential growth will generally outpace you

Yeah my switch storage is cooked. Far too many large first party titles on there. Had to delete Three Houses today just so I could make room for Portal and Portal 2. If I’m gonna grab Tears Of The Kingdom for my birthday in a few months, I’m pretty much forced to buy physical at this point, I have zero space.

@Skywave @theBigBlue i bought a 256GB SD card for my extended battery Switch, because my 128GB SD card was not working anymore at my Switch, but when i put my new SD card on my Switch, it didnt regonized it, i bought this SD cart at brazilian site of Amazon, currently my Switch have 20.7GB of memory, can i still play Metroid Prime Remastered and Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom? i plan to play both of this games for my birthday next week, my paternal aunt is gonna give me the Metroid Prime remaster for my birthday and i gonna pre-order soon Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, is 20.7GB enough for both this games(obs:physical media of both of them)
