@chapuH it’s a watermark so when people share the image you can see where it came from which in this case is a Twitter account called Snoopy something or rather.
@Ralizah The third-party series I'd really like on Switch is Metal Gear. I always felt The Twin Snakes was slightly undercooked in terms of content, so I'd like a remake of that. I'd take Substance though, or even an actually finished version of The Phantom Pain (...yeah, that's fanciful).
Whew... gotta redo my whole annual budget....again.

Metroid Freaking Prime!!!! Available NOOOOOW!!! Eh hem. Metroid Prime is now available.
Level 5 is back, baby!!!! New Fantasy Life! New IP! Professor Layton! It is SO on!
GB and GBA! FINALLY! No Metroid or Fire Emblem GBA out the gate, but I did see they're in the coming soon list. Eventually we'll have both GBA Metroids and localized Fire Emblem games. THAT'S. WHAT'S. UP.
Pikmin 4 is looking DELISH!!!
Advance Wars is finally coming- 2 more months!
Baten Kaitos 1 and 2 remaster is real, and on the way!
Zelda is $70, but is eligible for the vouchers making it only $50. They're ballsy, I'll give em that. I see Pikmin 4 is still normal price, and Kirby, and Advance Wars, and Metroid Prime is $39.99, so they're only pulling this for the one game they know they can get away with it. I'll admit, even without the voucher I'd have still paid it, but if they wanna test where that line in the sand is, they're gonna find out real quick there's only a small handful of games I'd do that for.

What a direct @nintendolife@nintendo advance wars, NSO gameboy gameboy colour gameboy advavance . Metroid prime remaster, pikmin 4. Tales of symphoina remaster. Megaman battle network legacy collection. Was a really good direct 👍👍👍👍👍
Gameboy and Gameboy Advance on NSO was the highlight for me. I've been longing to revisit these so excited to pick them up soon.
Good to see the level of Level 5 presence. Their new RPG looks intriguing, and I'm happy to see Fantasy Life back (although I doubt I'll ever have the time for that one).
Tears of the Kingdom...was underwhelming? I don't doubt that the game will be good, but Nintendo have yet to do anything to wow me with this one.
Am I the only one who doesn't see the point of the Splatoon 3 wave 1 DLC? Am I missing something?
Metroid Prime 1 only was a bit disappointing, but the lower price point and shadow drop suggests to me that they plan to remaster all 3. What we have looks decent so I'll probably pick it up sometime.
Overall not bad, but nothing jumping the queue on my backlog either (other than a few quick GB/GBA games).
Level-5 Redemption Arc seems to be in full effect. Inject it into my veins. The Professor Layton games and the original Fantasy Life were favorites of mine.
Currently Playing: Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition
After playing Metroid Prime Remastered for the last 15 min, I can say the gyro is... eh.
They give 4 control schemes: classic like GC, Pointer like Wii, Dual Analog, and Hybrid which is like GC but with motion.
I wanted Dual analog with gyro. No idea why they didn't provide that as an option.
Having said that. After playing for a bit, gyro isn't really needed because of the lock on system, so I actually prefer Dual analog to the hybrid system. It works perfectly fine. Ya, I'd prefer also having gyro with it but, it's fine. You only need to aim in the general vicinity for lock on to detect, so the precision gyro offers doesn't really benefit the game much. If it did, I'd stick with the hybrid control scheme (which some may like, if they prefer the GC control scheme). The gyro is well done, I just think the 2nd analog adds way more than gyro does. At least for these games that have lock on. For games requiring precision aiming, definitely not the case.
It's really good though. The HD rumble, the surround sound, the nice, crisp visuals in wide-screen... muah!!!
10 yrs. For 10 years I've waited to have Portal/Portal 2 and Metroid Prime with adequate control schemes on handheld. And now, I have them tribrid handheld.

Purple and white pikmin return in Pikmin 4! With ice pikmin closely resembling rock pikmin.
@Ralizah
It does. I just like dual analog better, probably because that's what I'm accustomed to.
To me, dual analog feels better in Prime than GC controls with gyro. But that's just me.
They do include a mode that controls exactly like the Wii. But I don't like turning the camera with the gyro. It does feel better with a two handed controller than one handed though. More stability, and doesn't need as much movement of the wrist.
By the way, I can see them getting lost in the midst of all these other announcements, but the Etrian Odyssey games are INCREDIBLE dungeon-crawlers. Legitimately the best Wizardry-style DRPGs ever made. And it looks like we didn't even lose the map functionality for the Switch ports, which is awesome.
@JaxonH Metroid Prime remaster look too good to be a simply remaster? does the game run on UE4? who developed the Metroid Prime 1 remaster? it cant be Retro Studios, they are busy working on Metroid Prime 4, does the game still run at 60fps like the original?
