...the first part you timestamped is complaining that Edelgard's route isn't fleshed out enough.
...the second part complained about the game relying on narration to convey various story beats.
...the third part is complaining about how the game approaches the time skip.

None of those feature any sort of commentary about the plot being too intense.

I found Three Houses very intense, I blushed so hard when I was having tea with one of the pretty girls in the game!

Until we get an M-rated/18-rated Fire Emblem game, those story beats will never be intense enough.

I'm talking about some behind-the-bleachers shenanigans.

Just been catching up on this week's post in this thread. It was interesting to see a few of you drawing a line under collecting after Switch, as that's roughly the sort of thoughts I've had on and off. Switch has just broken us with so much goodness. It's simply unsustainable to keep buying and playing through all the good stuff being put out. I've got no issue building a crazy big backlog, but when the generation transitions to the next, I'm probably only going to have played 10-20% of what I've bought, and I want to play those other games, I didn't just buy them for the sake of it.

@JaxonH Congratulations on your epic Fire Emblem stash, it's truly impressive and awe-some. I have all of the western-released games (bar the Fates DLC), but none of the beautiful merch extras you have, and I don't have any sealed copies. Take care of that stuff (I know you will).

I have tons of backlogs too, from Nintendo to PlayStation games. But my favorite collections are from PS4 & PS3 games. My PS4 games have some strong franchises like Story of Seasons, Dragon Quest Builders, The Sims 4, Portal Knights, LEGO CITY UNDERCOVER while my PS3 games have bunch of weird games like Kung Fu Rider, movie tie games, Move games, etc.

Is it just me, or is that one of the most compelling adverts Nintendo has put out in... IDK? Someone went to some real effort with that, and the music just demands that I sit and listen until it ends. Does anyone recognise that piece of music, or is it new?

But, I have a lot of 3rd party multi console games on PS4 / PS5 version instead of Switch version so when I saw the same games on Switch version from the articles, I just said I have the PlayStation version because I played that version. I will not say I played the Switch version when I don't have those games on Switch.
I'm sorry, I felt I back to my PlayStation side during pandemic and became like more from PlayStation version of the same games.

Nice to see a fellow Fire Emblem fan can appreciate it. I'd been ogling that mythical piece for the last half decade. Now, if only I could procure those gold Monster Hunter Rise amiibo one day!

I was fortunate to nab my sealed copies in the early Wii U era after Awakening dropped, before the 2nd hand market prices spiraled out of control. Couldn't imagine trying to collect them nowadays. Still, having all the games released in the west is more than most have, that's for sure.

@JaxonH In March it'll go from everything except Ike's games being readily available to only the 2 Warriors games, Three Houses and Engage being readily available.

I mean, you can still easily buy all those games physically, and frankly, if someone hasn't bought a game on an old legacy consoles storefront in the last decade, they were probably never going to. If there was enough ppl still buying they wouldn't shut down the shop, so the fact it's being shut down is evidence that very, very few gamers are buying from it anymore.

can Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom surpass the lagacy of Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild?
