Calling it now, they're going to do a licensed Pokemon Splatfest at some point where you choose between the three starters. Either the new ones or the Kanto ones.
@JaxonH The duality of having the 2 games you're most excited for both be €60 AND come out within 2 months of each other.
I WILL FIND A WAY TO GET BOTH DAMNIT.
I always wanted to know. Where tf does that thing come from?

Splatoon is so much fun. So good, in fact, I'd rank it as my #1 favorite competitive multiplayer game of all time. It's sooo good. Sooo much fun. Absolutely ridiculous how addictive it is. Those Turf Wars and Salmon Run Horde mode are like crack.
And I'm not normally a MP kinda guy. In fact, I actively avoid multiplayer games. In general, I just don't enjoy them and prefer single player. But Splatoon is a rare exception.
The fact everyone can contribute without high stress or insane headshot skills, combined with matches randomizing the teams so that if a team happens to be really good, the players get scrambled on the next match so you never get creamed over and over, results in a high thrill but low stress experience. And the gameplay is just fun. Like a Mario game where it's just fun to move around and jump, it's the same way in Splatoon. Moving, shooting ink and swimming is fun in its own right. It just feels good.
And with a beefy single player mode to jump into if you're new to get the hang of the mechanics, or even just take a break from MP every now and then, it's the perfect online game.
Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions
Zachariah 12:10 (500 yrs before Christ)
They will look on Me whom they pierced
Splatoon and Monster Hunter both feel like multiplayer-centric experiences designed for hermits like myself who don't usually enjoy social gaming experiences.
They're also the only two major exceptions to my strict single-player only policy with games.
Currently Playing: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (NS2); Corpse Factory (PC)
I’ve still been too hesitant to dip my toe into Smash online. I barely use the online features tbh although recently it really improved the experience on Shredders Revenge. Playing cooperatively helped get me through the last few stages.
