Advent Calendar is a 2D puzzle game from the screenshots I found from play-asia.

@Maxenmus sure thing, I'm at home again and I can make art with my computer (I'm on my chromebook right now, not my PC)

btw google chrome screenshot add-ons are terrible compared to firefox.

did TheMelodiusRose delete their account or ignore everyone?

@Kermit1 That would actually be a pretty impressive feat if they blocked everyone, considering I've never even interacted with them and I still can't see their account anymore.

If you see 404 not found from the user = deleted account.

@Anti-Matter I see no 404... I never touched on whatever they were talking about anyway.

They probably deleted their account, yeah. I can't see their posts either. I'd get a 404 error when going to their profile, too.

Some people just can't be reasoned with.

It's a really weird thing to get so mad about though. Could it be that considering the Switch a "home console first" made them feel validated in some way? I know there's people that look down on handhelds as the lesser/for kids option.

Anyhow, let's not dwell on it too much, we wouldn't want them to continue derailing the thread with their absence.

It's hard to truly understand what's going on in peoples' heads some times. Could be a combination of a perspective of insecurity about playing on a handheld, and just being a younger individual who hasn't yet matured (one hallmark of maturity is the ability to reason and rule over your emotions, especially those which aren't logically grounded).

I try to understand where ppl are coming from- for example, you may come to learn that person was teased for playing Switch (kids act like kids, you know how it goes) and that put them on the defensive from the start, so any mention of being handheld triggered them into that defensive position.

But I'm no psychologist. Oftentimes I think it's just younger, immature individuals who don't know how to act, and let the anonymity of the internet depersonalize who they're speaking with to the point everything becomes about arguing and being right.

Monster hunter looks cool but I swear it’s the only game that all the adverts show the player getting battered about. I don’t even think the soulsborne games do that lol.

That being said I may give it another go this holiday (I am way too stressed to be stressed about a game right now. )

They like to show the monsters as threatening and powerful, so they always showcase the hunters getting battered about.
