@kkslider5552000 This doesn't make any sense? Why would they do that?
I would assume it ended up being easier to require people to download a thing then it would to make the game playable out of the box (either because they couldn't fit it on the cartridge or because they ran out of time to put all the correct files into the physical version)

Ah, thanks. Bunch of stuff boxed up in the closet, unfortunately. Only so much can be displayed at once. Had way too many figures out previously which didn't look good, imo.

Trust me, I've seen some collections that make mine seem like nothing by comparison. Like, straight up quarter to half million dollar collections. I remember seeing those and thinking wow, I'm like amateur hour over here next to them. But then I realized it's a big world, and we're all connected through internet. There's always gonna be ppl with more. Once I viewed it from that perspective it was much easier to be content with what I have.
Amiibo were a tough one. I actually do have every amiibo released to date, barring cereal boxes and cards. Back in those early years it was a nightmare trying to procure each one released. I had to join a LINE chat where we all watched sites globally and posted a notification when something went live. It was not uncommon to get woken up at 3am because Marth went live at Walmart, for example. Ultimately had to box up all the Animal Crossing amiibo, half the Super Mario amiibo, some Splatoon amiibo color variants, and the Skylanders Amiibo because there wasn't enough shelf space.
It's crazy how many amiibo have released now. They really added up over the years. Some collectors keep them sealed but my policy is, things are bought to be kept and enjoyed, so I opened mine. Granted, I do have an extra mint sealed set of the original Smash Bros amiibo set on Wii U, as well as all the Fire Emblem, Monster Hunter, and Metroid amiibo. I gave up on sealed after that though because it took up too much space and was too much of a headache.

@JaxonH Have you ever heard about that Saudi Arabian dude who had the world's largest video game collection? Apparently it was worth at least like $2 million and he had stuff like original run Ocarina of Time boxes, every games console, the whole schebang. He was even featured in the Guinness World Book of Records a few years back from what I can recall.. Now THAT would be a hard feat to beat, I'll tell you what.

Those Saudis are filthy rich. Buying half the gaming industry because they don't know what else to do with their gold bars.

@DarthNocturnal I'll probably make one when I'm not in such a strop but of all the gaming companies, the last one I'd want to make an account for would be Epic.

Fall Guys requires an Epic Games account even on Switch, are you ********* kidding me.
With Rocket League (owned by Epic Games) they prompt you for an Epic Games account when you first boot up the game, but you can skip it, at least for Rocket League you can (like if you press B to back out). For Rocket League & Fortnite, the Epic Games account is for cross platform save data, nothing more, as far as I've seen. And, as far as creating an Epic Games account goes, you can sign in with your existing nintendo account username & pw. You don't even need to make a new username & pw. So, sign in once with your nintendo account, and you'll never see the prompt again.
@Fizza Rocket League lets you just sign in with your existing nintendo account username and pw. So, you're kind of not-creating a new account somewhere? This is just so Epic Game's server can have a copy of your game save data for cross platform support. Once you've linked to Epic Games with your existing nintendo account, you're done.
@WoomyNNYes If you go to the Epic website and log in (this is on a desktop PC) then click on the top right hand side you should see your user name, click or ohver over this and it should pop up with account, click on this it will bring up the general Option Starting with General Settings, scroll down and the last option is Delete Account "Request Account Delete" button

There's this European law called "The right to be forgotten". Even if a website or service doesn't have a feature build-in to delete your account, you should be able to contact them with that request and they HAVE to abide within 30 days. And yes, this also counts for companies who're stationed in different parts of the world. From the moment they do business in the EU, they have to abide to this law, so you're safe.
