Three Houses did get DLC but there may have originally been plans for even more DLC after. Smash for example had 2 Fighters Passes and we didn't know about the 2nd until the 1st was almost over.

In that article it states they simply decided to make a new game instead of DLC and started from scratch. Which isn't the same thing as DLC morphing into a game like Hollow Knight's.

I'd like to add that Saints Row 4 also started as DLC before becoming a full game. That one I distinctly remember.
With how long its taken, I felt like that was obviously going to happen with Silksong. It would just be weird for a DLC, even a substantial one, to take as long as the game itself (though that clearly didn't stop Cuphead :V).
The Persona situation has slightly been resolved, PS4 is getting P4G and P3P so now much like Soul Hackers 2 it's a "everything but Switch" situation for all 3 Persona games. Likely Nintendo stockpiling announcements for a Direct.
In other news, the Sunbreak demo has gone live. Go to the MH Rise page, select download demo and it gives the option for Sunbreak demo.

One of the names in the list translates to Anna, and their profile pic looks like what you'd expect Anna to look like, so I'm erring on the side of it being authentic.
That hair is crazy, but I'm sure there's a story reason for it. Said it was designed as an anniversary title. I imagine the main character is infused half dragon and that caused the split in hair color. While my first impression was, "that looks awful" I'm getting more used to it now. Either way, I'm excited and want to see the full game.
For now though, it's all about Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes and Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak, both of which have demos live on the eShop btw. If you own a Switch and haven't played these demos, what are you even doing 😀

True. I was more referring to people who aren't buying the game and should check it out because I think it could sell them on it. If you're already sold the demo has little purpose aside from sating your thirst.
Jungle map is awesome though. It's a seriously great remake. And Astalos is magnificent! I'm skipping Malzeno though because I don't want to spoil the fight before the main game, being a new monster and all. I fought Magnamalo so much in the base game demo I already knew his moveset when I got to him.
BTW, I was under the impression the blue/red haired protagonist was a female. I thought I read you could also choose a male protagonist (which is pretty standard in FE now). I imagine the male protagonist has short hair.

It's not offering anything more than speculation. They have no evidence to back anything up, like a reputable insider saying, "no, it's not gonna happen". It's literally just them saying, "hey there's always the possibility we don't get one"...
Ya, obviously. Of course there's always that possibility. But multiple credible sources say it's coming at the end of the month, and, Nintendo has released a June Direct every year as far back as I can recall.
So... why post the video when you could just as easily state the obvious in one sentence- "Nothing is 100% guaranteed".

Neon White reviews are in. It's sitting at an 88/100 on Metacritic for the PC version after 14 reviews. The Switch version only has 3 reviews so not enough for an aggregate, but they're 90, 85 and 80. So right in line with the PC version.
It's apparently only on Switch as far as consoles, and it has Gyro aiming. It's a weird mash up of FPS, first person platforming like Mirror's Edge and Doom Eternal but where each weapon type comes with a skill like grappling hook for rocket launcher, air dash for shotgun, etc, with fast, instant start levels like Super Meat Boy and card based movement and attack mechanics.
It's wild, but apparently VERY good. Game Informer gave it a 95 and said it's the best game this year (which I doubt given Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes and Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak demos, but hey).
