I think Wii Music was good as I like to make Custom Jam from Wii Music with Saxophone as my favorite musical instrument.
Here is one of my Custom Jam performance.
Looks like the next NSO game trial is Stardew Valley...in Europe and Japan at least. Here's Nintendo Everything's article on it. Wouldn't be surprised if it made it to North America either - I'd be down with that.
1, 2 Switch sold really well, so they were always going to want to release a sequel.
They released a game that's probably the budgetary equivalent of one of those bargain bin Ubisoft party games on Wii and convinced several millions of people to pay full MSRP for it.
I also find its existence as a full-price release to be offensive, but if I was making decisions at Nintendo, I'd have greenlit a sequel in a second.
What's particularly interesting to me is how bad it reportedly is.
The only reason 1-2 Switch sold as well as it did was the fact it was a launch title, and ppl wanted a game that showcased the HD Rumble.
Both of those factors are missing for the sequel. It won't be a launch title with no competition, and ppl have plenty of experience with HD rumble in games now. Furthermore, anyone who didn't buy 1-2 Switch clearly isn't going to buy the sequel. So it's fanbase is restricted to 1-2 Switch owners. And most of those weren't impressed- they may have rolled the dice (no pun intended) once, but knowing how lame it is now in hindsight, are far less likely to spend another $60 on a sequel.
Warioware Let's Get It Together has only sold 1 million copies. And that was an excellent game. I have doubts a 1-2 Switch sequel will even crack a million sold.
Worst yet, is the better it sells the more damage it does to Nintendo as a brand. Bad games ruin reputations and consumer confidence. Most ppl buy 1st party games because Nintendo has such a good track record. They have faith the game will be good. The more bad games they release, the less confident consumers will be in the future giving games the benefit of the doubt.
And internal staff seemingly understand this, as it's been reported there is pushback against releasing it due to the potential harm it could bring on their reputation.

I remembered a lot of peoples hate Amiibo Festival but I like to play Amiibo Festival after get digging with the board games on it.
Also, I could use the gameplay system from Amiibo Festival for my own board games that being used for my Math Club activity and my students like my board games.
And if Nintendo make 1-2- Switch sequel with better gameplay and features, maybe it will not hurt the reputation as not everyone have interest to invest with 1st party Nintendo games like zelda or smash bros or metroid games. There is always the audiences for quirky / obscure games like 1-2-Switch.
New here and to the Switch, bought it for the family last week, got hooked to it.
The ease of use, the flexibility to play where you want in what ever fashion (TV, Handheld and a merit of controller options)
Wish i bought into the Switch 5 years ago
My 3 year old loves to kick my butt with nintendo sports swords game.
My 11 year old loves Tony Hawk 1&2
My wife loves Crash Bandicoot
And i really enjoy playing old Star wars games (currently TOR 1)
@Grumblevolcano
We'll see. If they're smart they'll either cancel it or add it to NSO, though I can't imagine many seeing that as "added value".
@Neintendo
Did you get the OLED model? Tony Hawk PS1/2 is excellent on Switch. As is Crash 4. You have so many great games to catch up on- Metroid Dread, DKC Tropical Freeze, Monster Hunter Rise, Zelda BotW, Mario Odyssey, Fire Emblem Three Houses, Triangle Strategy, Xenoblade Chronicles, etc. And if you like Star Wars, both Knights of the Old Republic and Knights of the Old Republic II is on Switch. Oh, and shooters are so much fun on Switch with gyro aiming. Doom Eternal, Sniper Elite 4 and Zombie Army 4 are so much fun it's almost criminal.

Yes Sir! The OLED version, you are right there are so so many good titles haha i want to play them all but need to be careful not to jump from game to game without finishing them
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is the biggest surprise upset of the year for me. Wow.
I was always buying it (it's Fire Emblem, of course I'm buying it) but I can't say I've been excited for it. Haven't bothered discussing it much as a result. But this demo has SOLD ME. It's so much better than I was expecting. It runs well, looks clean and sharp on the OLED tv with mClassic and high sharpening filter, and the gameplay is easily the pinnacle of the genre. The movesets are excellent, there's tons of depth, it's way easier to understand maps and giving orders now (was one of my biggest issues with the last one- it was too confusing giving orders), and the characters and story is really well done. They even voiced Byleth!
I'm playing with female Shez, male Byleth on Normal Classic. You can change from Classic to Casual from menu at any time, but not the other way around (just like Three Houses). You can freely switch the difficulty though, unlike Three Houses which only let you bump it down to an easier mode.
4 full chapters, and the save data transfers to the full game. That's a seriously good chunk of free content. I recommend downloading the demo, clearing the first 4 chapters and see what you think.

@JaxonH What's the performance like? The Age of Calamity demo ran terribly from my memory and I'm wondering if this has similar framerate issues. If not, I might get it after playing FE3H myself.

It runs great. It doesn't have the performance mode of the last one, but performance is solid as it gets.

I just watched a framerate analysis and was surprised to see it's actually unlocked. It feels smoother than expected because the rate of change is so gradual.
It does seem to have some very brief flickers to 28 fps here and there but by and large stays in the 30-40 range.
The exception to this seems to be when flashy canned animations are playing out with tons of effects, it can drop into the low 20s, but this is not when you have control of your character, and all the effects on screen make it hard to notice anyways.
But ya, play the demo and see for yourself. It feels good.

Could any of you give me some game recs? I'm going on holiday soon, and I'm taking my Switch, it'll be for two months. So I plan to get an NSO Game Voucher to get two games. I'm leaning towards Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, but which other game would y'all recommend?
@TheJGG
DKC Tropical Freeze is the single greatest 2D platformer of all time. Impeccable taste, I must say.
As for another, there's sooo many good games to recommend. Monster Hunter Rise is one of the best games on Switch, offers hundreds of hours of content (even 50-100 for more casual players), and the Sunbreak expansion is releasing in 3 weeks. There's also Sniper Elite 4 and Zombie Army 4- two of the best shooters with gyro aiming. And Resident Evil Revelations Collection is superb. Metroid Dread and the two Ori games are absolute gems. Fire Emblem Three Houses and Triangle Strategy and Mario Rabbids Kingdom Battle are all strategy gems. Shin Megami Tensei V, Xenoblade Chronicles and Final Fantasy X are all excellent JRPGs. There's just too many to list.
