@Ralizah I'd like to see a June Direct but I don't see it happening because of how much Nintendo revealed in February and April. The last bit of hope I had was MK8 Deluxe DLC wave 2 as 6 waves = 6 general Directs makes sense but in the MK8 Deluxe thread there's discussion about maintenance happening tomorrow so its looking like a shadow drop "out now" type thing instead for wave 2.
Microsoft have also taken Nintendo's typical E3 slot with another showcase (Xbox Games Showcase Extended).
@MarioLover92 Good to hear! Yeah there are supposed to be more characters. So Daisy may still show up!

@Grumblevolcano It makes a lot more sense for Sony and Microsoft to have shows in June, because their lineups are pretty barebones in terms of exclusives and first-party releases. But yeah, Nintendo has announced so much already, I'm not even sure what they'd stand to gain from announcing more stuff in a Direct.
I'd very happily take a BotW2-focused Direct, but I don't think we'll be getting that. However good the game is, it won't be the sort of revolutionary change for the series that its predecessor was.

I feel like there'll be a Direct because it makes more sense to do than to not do a Direct.
And I feel there's enough they can do. It likely won't be the biggest one, but we've seen only one Bayonetta 3 trailer, one Rabbid + Mario trailer, two BOTW2 trailers (one of which was a teaser, the other essentially a teaser with a minute of gameplay attached to it), none of the single player for Splatoon 3, etc. Also I could absolutely see some NSO Expansion Pass announcement (regular NSO if they got SMRPG) to keep that being relevant (or at least the next Mario Kart 8 courses). So even ignoring the three games coming out soon or new announcements (which I can't even fathom they wouldn't have), there are obviously things to show off. Just add a few notable ports, a couple of mid-tier exclusives, a montage, and you're probably good.
Also Treehouse, they'd likely want to continue that.
It's super cool seeing Doom Eternal finally receiving a physical edition, and a steelbook.
Same for Tetris Effect.

@JaxonH It's something I was hoping LRG would do. Although it's unfortunate the DLC won't be bundled together with this release. But I guess I can't have everything.

Seems Nintendo got lucky, there's that thing going on about mobile/tablet/handheld having to have a USB-C port by autumn 2024 but Switch already went down the USB-C route when it launched in 2017.
After being thoroughly turned off by Warhammer 40k: Mechanicus, I decided to pivot genres and give Grow a little bit of my time. What a charming, good looking, beautiful sounding, box-checking busy-work management game. I only played for about half an hour, but I like where this is going. This could give Yonder some competition for best non-simlife game that doesn't have combat.
Similar games like My Time at Portia or Forager actually have a bit of combat.

@StarPoint
I prefer 1-2-Switch sequel than the upcoming games like Xenoblade 3 / Metroid Prime 4 / Splatoon 3 / BOTW 2.
I don't even have any interest with those games.
@StarPoint Nintendo likely saw its sales and decided sequel from that (it got 3.45 million sales up to the end of 2020), honestly makes me wonder if we'll find out that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe gets more Booster Course Passes (like a 2nd one that begins in early 2024 and ends in late 2025) so that ARMS 2 can happen.
@Grumblevolcano It's just a little surprising to me considering the general lukewarm/ harsh reception the game got. Perhaps they think they can improve on the idea of it, but judging by this leak, I'm not too sure.
