Missions are daily or weekly? Because i want to collect all icons.

Nintendo Switch is 5 years now, what we can expect for the console in the coming years and check out the analysis of the reveal trailer of Pokémon Scarlet e Pokémon Violet and 15 Nintendo franchise still not on Switch

I just had a chat with one of the guys at Nintendo, they said you can keep the icon elements forever once you redeem them for platinum coins.

@MarioLover92 As in like customer support? The way you phrased it made it sound like 'my uncle works at Nintendo'.

That's fantastic though if that's the case, I'll need to get all the Odyssey ones ASAP.

@Fizza Ah, my apologies. Yeah, it was the customer support chat. They pretty much confirm that in the help page, as well:

You must have an active, paid Nintendo Switch Online membership to redeem icon elements. However, once an element has been added to your icon collection, you will not lose access to it—even if you no longer have an active membership.

theorey: at this year's e3, nintendo could potentially have a spot for oddity, as they seem to be more indie friendly more recently (even with homage titles). Also, i think this year's e3 will be a banger just in general. This is nintendo's year, im calling it now. Also, before you say anything, my oddity prediction is not me building up for nothing, as im not really that much of a mother fan, though id very much like to and think oddity looks reaaaaally pretty

@nowthisisepic E3 was cancelled lol. There isn't going to be anything there.

@link3710 oh ***** really? Well ill bet there'll just be a june nintendo direct to compensate for the gap

@nowthisisepic Yeah, most likely it'll be sometime early summer at least. I do think the fact that E3 isn't involved might change how they handle it though.

@link3710 i doubt it, i think itll still be e3-sized. If everything we just got was just the FEBRUARY direct, then just imagine what they have left to announce. AND we just a new pokemon gen, so i think itll be big dude.

When is Wave 1 of MK8 DLC coming this month?

@nowthisisepic When E3 was cancelled in 2020 there was no major Nintendo Direct at all that summer, only those short Partner Showcases, so I wouldn't necessarily expect anything big around June specifically this year. Of course, now that covid isn't so much of a disruption it might still happen - we still need a title for the new Zelda after all, and they won't just drop that on Twitter (probably) - but the lack of E3 gives Nintendo the freedom to announce things however they want rather than put everything in one big Direct.

@Dogorilla I think that was just because of covid. That shouldn't be a problem anymore.
I feel june is a perfect opportunity for a direct, since most of the games they have showcased have been released by then.

@link3710 Isn't E3 2022 being fully cancelled just rumours at the moment? Pretty sure the only confirmed thing so far is no physical event which is to be expected.

@Grumblevolcano The ESA themselves have stated that there are no plans for a live E3 event this year. Beyond that, a digital E3 event is also unlikely due to how poorly last year's E3 digital event was received. I mean who wants to watch another Take Two Interactive E3 livestream which was basically just a glorified internal corporate zoom meeting?
