Nice, Diofield and the TMNT collection were highlights of an actually decent State of Play for once. Glad Diofield is confirmed for Switch.

Sucks about AW and I can understand why some may think it's an overreaction to delay, but I think AW in particular just hits a too close to home right now. It would be an overreaction to delay a FE Three Hopes, which probably won't happen. But AW, despite being caetoony, I dunno..

Please tell me that TMNT collection isn't PlayStation exclusive.

We already know JoJo Fighter is coming to Switch, and Diofield Chronicle is coming to Switch.

@JaxonH @IceClimbers Oh crap sorry my fault. I was relying on Nintendo to announce it via social media but a look on Reddit and I saw there’s a trailer for TNMT collection trailer from Konami that says it’s definitely coming to Switch. Yeah that’s my bad, I jumped the gun there. I don’t know why Nintendo have been silent about these announcements.

It's hilarious that the only two games I was really interested in are both coming to Switch. Diofield Chronicles looked pretty good.

But ya, that's 3 games for Switch out of that presentation. Not bad. At least 2 of them are games I'll be picking up (unless Diofield Chronicles ends up reviewing terribly, but I doubt that)

@JaxonH I doubt AW is delayed too long. We'll probably get a new release date once this Ukraine invasion is out of the news cycle.

I was a little gutted at first, since I'm super excited for these remakes, but I guess this means I have more time for Triangle Strategy now.

@JaxonH I am super excited about that TMNT collection, especially as I never got to play the games back in the day. Also the arcade games are on there - I assume the Turtles in Time arcade is on there as well as SNES version. Is there a list of which games are featured?

Ya, I've been enjoying Triangle Strategy so much, I actually started to get pretty excited for Advance Wars. It's really put me in a strategy mood. I hope you're right- that it isn't delayed too long and we still see it this year.

But I'm most definitely down to give Triangle Strategy more time. After all, the game is kind of designed to be played through twice with New Game + and making different decisions than your first playthrough.

Indeed. It's a long list. Basically console and arcade versions of Turtles In Time and the fighting game. Which, I'm all about Turtles In Time, myself.

Wow, 2 bangers i was not expecting coming to switch. DioField looks like it'll scratch that FE itch for me. And I can't say enough great things about the tmnt collection. Im over the moon happy about that.

I just checked into The Diafield Chronicle. The developer is the same team behind the recently released Monarch, and Lost Dimension, Etrian Odyssey 1 and 2, SMT Strange Journey, and some lesser known titles.

So, not too impressive? But apparently they have someone who worked on Fire Emblem many years writing the scenario (explains the similarities in setting, style, etc) and someone who worked on Final Fantasy many years helping as well.

I also checked the game's website and the music that plays is pretty good (that's ALWAYS a surefire tell on a game's quality- if the music is mediocre the game will likely be as well, but when the music is really really good, it bodes well... and the music is really really good)

It also has tons of character descriptions and screenshots. I recommend checking it out

@JaxonH nice! I haven't played those others yet. But, from the quick look of it, it looks like it's right up my alley. If it's headed in the same direction as triangle, I think we're in for a treat. I'm enjoying my time with triangle thus far.

I prefer cartoonish racing games like Race with Ryan or Blaze & The Monster Machines over than any realistic racing games since I only like cartoonish graphics and Mario Kart style racing games with items to smack on opponents so any realistic racing games just bored me for boring ultra realistic graphic and boring smooth sailing drive without whimsical things. No Mario Kart style = No buy.

When I saw that in the State of Play, I thought it was a new Final Fantasy Tactics game, @JaxonH & @NintendoByNature .... Needless to say, I'm sold! It's even coming to Steam this year as well, so Sony haven't thrown money at them for it to be 'exclusive'
