@Balta666 Compare to FF VIII's overworld consisting of like, three low poly models and textures (at least at the beginning of the game), that's an improvement. And that's nitpicking really, we both know the overworld is the worst looking part of both games.
@Balta666 Nocturne doesn't look as amazing as some other PS2 RPGs like FFX or Kingdom Hearts but in no way does it look worse next to other PS1 era RPGs. At least it actually has things going on in its overworld and environments unlike stuff like FFVII and VIII, Chrono Cross and Legend of Legaia
Hell Nocturne's dungeons look more visually interesting compared to even Persona 3 and 4 to me

Same here, actually. And I really did want to play Trigger, but I was young when it first came out and my parents wouldn't buy it for me. Pretty sure I saw articles on it in Nintendo Power and kept begging for it, but alas, it didn't happen.
So yea, a few years later I was a bit older and had some allowance money from time to time. Chrono Cross was definitely a game with a good time return for the money lol

@JaxonH 2022 is looking like an awesome sequel to 2021. I need to play the original again now in preparation.
edit:
Having watched the trailer now, I'm left wondering if the fact that she's playing 999 on her device, which resembles a Switch, is itself teasing a release of The Nonary Games collection on Switch. Although, admittedly, its construction is more reminiscent of a Vita...
Fitness Boxing 2 just got new DLC, which I think is the first 1st party announcement post E3... Not that that says much considering what game it is lol.
@Ralizah
Can’t imagine they won’t. Software sales on Switch are often matching, even exceeding that of PS, which has been the gold standard for devs for years. They can be grumpy and reluctant all they want, but as soon as they get a taste of that Switch success, it’s only a matter of time.
2022 is gonna be crackin. Especially because the revision will almost certainly be out by then as well. But to be perfectly honest, I’m overwhelmed by the remainder of this year. Haven’t even begun to think about next year. Heck, even just this month of July is nuts. So many good RPGs on the way though. Ys IX, MH Stories 2, Neo TWEWY, Ni No Kuni 2, SMTV… I still need to get back to Bravely Default 2 and Persona 5 Strikers! At this point, I’m starting to count down the years to my retirement so I can finally catch up on all these games. Only, let’s see… 30 more to go
Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions
Is it just me or is July a really busy month for releases? I feel like I have like six games on my radar this month. (Not buying all of them mind you but still.)
Edit: yeah I am not nuts, there is a lot on the way and I think I missed a few games. I’m buying what is bolded day 1. Out of the list though I will be getting 7 games by BF.
