No, what'll happen if it gets announced is people will spend a long time complaining if it wasn't as good as they hoped, @Dogorilla .... Then, they'll get convinced another upgrade is happening & speculate about that for years
@BruceCM Ah yeah, you're right... There'll probably be some new rumour about the 4K Nintendo Super Xbox which is a collaboration with Microsoft and has Rare Replay built into every unit
Thank you Nintendo for giving us Donkey Kong Jr Math on Nintendo Music
Yeah, whatever happens, there'll still be plenty of 'so, when's the actual successor coming', too, @GrailUK .... It's one of the things you do get used to, at least! Anyone thinking that whatever gets announced soon will stop that sort of stuff really needs to understand it'll soon resume again
Even if Nintendo did manage to make a pocket sized switch that'd unfold to play on it's own screen at full HD & connected to a TV for 4k output, you'd still get people wondering what was next & debating the likelihood of various possibilities
That, too, @Dogorilla! It'll also play GamePass games, didn't you know? & has Phil Spencer's autograph on it
@Magician i tired and anoyed of this contant Switch Pro rumors, since the launch of Switch i hearing that Nintendo is planing to release a 4K revision of Switch, this is getting ridiculous and anoying, is Wii HD all over again.
@Slowdive how this gonna affect future Nintendo games like Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2/Splatoon 3? can't Nintendo just share a review code of one it games for preview/review? well @Jump DCsuperheroes i don't think Nintendo consider is a major release, this game seen more like a filler for june, the major release for june is Game Builder Garage and Mario Golf Super Rush.
@Slowdive They are probably just talking about DC Super Girl Teens (or whatever it's called) which is out tomorrow but I've not seen reviews for it yet. All their other releases like Paper Mario, Hyrule Warriors and just recently Mario Golf I've seen previews and reviews pop up in advance.
@WoomyNNYes You know what would be weird with Selects range? Have physical versions cheaper that has all the patches on the cart! Nintendo are really good as it is, making sure the latest batches have updates on them, but still.
I never drive faster than I can see. Besides, it's all in the reflexes.
@NeonPizza
120 fps? Close enough to zero I feel confident in saying absolutely none.
I doubt even 60fps is a guarantee. But 120? Not a snowball's chance in hell. Not even my PS5 or PC with 2080 ti can do that for all games, even when dropping them down to 1080p, and this revision at best is still going to be 10x weaker than that.
If I had to estimate a 95% prediction interval, I'd say on the low end we're looking at zero change in performance- just a slightly larger OLED screen, HDMI 2.0 with the ability for a 4k signal to pass. And on the high end, I'd say we're looking at a moderate boost in performance that makes 1080p more common, with some games utilizing DLSS upscaling to 1440p or 2160p, at 30 fps, and in some instances, utilizing DLSS to output a 1080p 60 fps mode (but only for select games).
Chances are we'll land somewhere in the middle, with a small boost to performance, 4k signal output but no DLSS, so good for YouTube and indies but not much else, with 1080p being more commonplace and stable 30 fps without drops being more commonplace.
But that's just the opinion of one random gamer on a fan site, so who knows 🤷♂️
@JaxonH I think the switch pro is going to be great, but its not going to be ps4 level close, It might start to get closer to ps3? LOL i'm joking about that last bit.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

I don't think Nintendo has put out any updated physical games with patches on them. Weird.
Some third-party titles get the latest builds in the physical format as well (see link above).
Got the latest versions of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild physically when I re-bought them recently. That's why I'm going to wait purchasing certain titles after a certain time, when at least the major fixes are done.
Be warned though; if a game doesn't get fresh restocks (because of slow sales, etc.), you may end up with older versions of games. It's annoying that it's not clear which version you get by checking the box; it can only be discovered by either playing the game, or checking the number on the back of the gamecard...
