@link3710 WHAT? do you think Nintendo/Retro Studios is secretly working in another game? sorry to disapoint you, but this recent hire that i posted yesterday, is working on Metroid Prime 4
@jump this is not assumption, Shineparks and now Nintendo Life reported this person is working on Metroid Prime 4 as the senior Lighting artist, i never post fake news, this is real go look at Shinepark, beside his Likedin Acount mention he working on as senior Lighting artist on Metroid Prime 4.
@Giancarlothomaz They are all literally saying he's working at Retro and they DON'T specifically mention Metroid Prime 4.
He probably is working on MP4 but so what, are we meant to be looking at the lighting from his past work to figure out what it's gonna be like in MP4 ;P
@Giancarlothomaz They are all literally saying he's working at Retro and they DON'T specifically mention Metroid Prime 4.
Just because he's at Retro doesn't automatically mean he's working on Metroid. The NL article itself says he joined Retro, who [my observation] is just happening to work on Metroid Prime 4. He may be working on another project, and NL may have phrased the article to include the words "Metroid Prime 4" to gain some more views.

@TheJGG Retro Studios current game they are developing is Metroid Prime 4, why everyone here insisit this person must be working on another game at Retro Studios?where did you get this assumption he working on another game beside Metroid Prime 4?, Nintendo top priority for Retro Studios for them to work on Metroid Prime 4,if theres another Retro Studios game been worked(maybe yes or no, is gonna be released after Metroid Prime 4), after all Nintendo promised Metroid Prime 4 for us since 2017.
@Giancarlothomaz Well you can't automatically assume Retro would have all their staff working on Metroid Prime 4. When they were developing Donkey Kong Country: Returns, they were also working on Metroid Prime: Trilogy. The same could apply to Nintendo themselves, if they actually reported who they were hiring. They have so many divisions that it's all but guaranteed they're working on at least three new games.

@TheJGG that true, if is true that Retro Studios is working on Metroid Prime 4 and a mysterious game, what game do you imagine/expect they are working?another Donkey Kong country? and when do you expect then gonna release this game on Switch?
@Giancarlothomaz I'd like to think they're all working on Prime 4, to ensure it'll be a good entry, but I imagine Prime Trilogy is a thing and that it's being done by a very small team.

@TheJGG i see, most of the hiring Retro Studios is doing is for Metroid Prime 4, when a small team at Retro Studios is working at Metroid Prime Trilogy HD is that it?to release close to Metroid Prime 4 release?like supose Metroid Prime 4 release in late 2022/early 2023 or in 2023, release Metroid Prime Trilogy HD 6 months/1 year before the release of Metroid Prime 4? i can see Nintendo doing this.
Retro Studios did a lot of technical work on MK8 - for all we know the new hire might be working on the lighting for MK9 (where experience working for Pixar would be so valuable).
@Anti-Matter That was a joke and given Retro's recent type of hires I can only see them working on big shooter/action games from now on. How about a compromise and they put in evil pets you need to kill?
I need some help with Uno on Switch. I bought the game last year on sale from the eShop and have enjoyed playing it from time to time and this morning I decided to buy the Uno Flip DLC (with new action cards and double-sided decks). But Uno itself is currently on sale for 100% off or completely free until tomorrow (so download it if you want). But when I purchased the DLC for the game it downloaded a second game of Uno onto my console that won’t even open as it says I need the software to play (when I only downloaded an in-game expansion for a game I already bought) and my original version with my progress won’t download the DLC. Maybe it’s because it’s free at the moment but it’s not a separate Uno game that’s on sale from the one I already own: it’s the same and only one on the store, just with a crazy discount. I’d really appreciate some advice.
