Yea, I mean, all signs are pointing toward this happening. And as a Switch fan, it's AWESOME and I'm gonna preorder this puppy the moment it goes live.
But I do find it amusing that most of us who are typically anti-rumor are subbing hard onto these. Maybe it's because we're desperate to get something new. But in the past, no matter the source, number of sources, and specificity of the rumors, the majority of this forum base has cautioned against believing them until we get something solid from Nintendo.
@rallydefault I think it's more that Socar is saying it's impossible to happen and wouldn't budge even to it's a small viable possibility until now. It's only seemingly JaxonH who seems 100% convinced (or very supportive of the idea) by it with everyone else saying it's could/likely to happen.
To be fair, I also 100% believe that Nintendo will iterate on the Switch hardware. Nintendo have iterated on their platforms in the past (both their home consoles and their portable devices). And the Switch is Nintendo's only device on the market, so they're going to iterate on it. Bank on it, it's happening.
I just won't "go to the hill" with that opinion.
But when there's so much smoke...there has to be fire, right?
And regardless of all the reports at the manufacturing level Nintendo be like...

Oh ho, someone who's looking forward to the Stubbs remaster? Just how enthusiastic are you? Are you dropping the $150 for the super-duper ultra-deluxe collector edition? (I know I'm not.)

i had a weird and profectic dream that Capcom would do a Resident Evil 4 and make Monster Hunter Rise a full multiplaform release(specially with the expansion/ultimate version of the game).
FYI, those games were on the Game Boy Advance, not the DS. There is a sequel series on the DS called Mega Man Star Force though. I've played the first one, but for some reason I didn't like it that much. All six of the MMBN games are on the Wii U Virtual Console as well, so they're more readily available since you've got a Wii U.
@MarioLover92 Few people know, but there’s actually one Megaman Battle Network released in the USA for the DS, which let's you choose Between two operators to have partner. One is Chaud with Protoman and other guy with a navi named Colonel (I don't remember the operator's name). I thought it would be more appropriate to put the reply here, since there is a slight chance of Capcom putting a collection.

As a maniac collector of Switch physical releases I assure you...I'm never joshing.

@Diddy64 Oh I totally forgot about that! I used to have it, that was the DS version of MMBN5 that has both the ProtoMan and Colonel versions. (Colonel's operator is Baryl - just thought I'd mention that.)
@Anti-Matter I think so. It was one of the first BN games I've played (though I played BN3 before that) and I got into it pretty good. All the games start out with a tutorial on the battle system as well. It's pretty much an action RPG, since the battles are in real-time. Though there's no experience points, you just get either Zenny (the game's currency) or Battle Chips after winning a virus battle.
BN5 has the Liberation Missions too, which play similarly to games like Fire Emblem, Advance Wars, and Shining Force (all turn-based strategy games). If you're not into strategy games, BN5 might not be for you.

That photo mode in Monster Hunter Rise is gonna be so addicting.
I’m a screenshot maniac. I’m constantly taking screenshots in all the games I play on Switch. Probably have a few GB worth of vids and pics already just from the MH Rise demo!
But this photo mode, that takes things to a whole new level. As if the game wasn’t going to be addicting enough as is, Capcom decided to go ahead and make full fledged junkies out of their fanbase.
Speaking of which, 9 more days to Monster Hunter Rise! We’re in the home stretch now!

Maybe because this one has some credibility? I remember pre Switch some were adamant the "screen with holes" fake was real. Then when the Eurogamer rumour that ended up being real swung around people cited the fake as proof Eurogamer was wrong.
I distinctly remember trashing the first and believing Eurogamer. Even when people were making mocking videos with iPads that had WiiMotes taped to the sides. Purely because the first was impractical and the second was very plausible.
I see this current rumour as far too conservative to be the usual made up BS. They're not talking about "competitive with the PS4" or "entirely new form factor". It's a different screen and a change of SoC. Basically what Nintendo did with the GB, GBA, DS, 3DS and already the Switch. Even if it's fake it's probably going to happen!
Also Bloomberg isn't exactly the same as "my uncle from Nintendo took a photo in a factory".
@JaxonH me too i love to take photos and videos of every Switch games i have and share some photos/videos i took, april 10th can't come sooner enough(the day i will be finaly able to play Monster Hunter Rise, that my 30th birthday, oh my i feel old.
