Three posts in a row, Giancarlothomaz?

tsk...tsk

Anywho, the PC port of MHR is old news. Whichever of the two platforms you prefer, Switch or PC, is where you'll be buying MHR. Obviously. Only fanboys would get bend out of shape over any game being available on more than one platform.

People are funny about spoliers, I remember someone throwing a tantrum about finding out just the names of the last lot of Pokemon games.

So what's the etiquette for talking about the new leaks? New thread without the name in the topic?

So I just read NL's article about the Pokemon leak, and frankly I'm more confused than before I read the article lol

Wow.

That new Pokémon Legends game looks fantastic. It's like... truly open world. Even the battles don't go into a separate battle screen anymore. And it's gorgeous.

Seems like we're finally getting Pokemon: Catch of the Wild

Assuming BOTW2 comes out before the end of 2022, Nintendo's lineup for the next couple years is already looking great, and we don't even know what they have for the second half of 2021.

Yea, no matter how much complaining the internet manages to do about the Diamond/Pearl remakes, it's still gonna be a huge fall/holiday title for the Switch. And then the possibility of BotW2 around the same time or early 2022. Wow, that's pretty good.

2021 is a phenomenal year for Switch. Banger after banger after banger.

But 2022 isn't looking too shabby either. Already we have Pokemon Legends: Catch of the Wild, Splatoon 3, Zelda Breath of the Wild 2, probably Bayonetta 3 (provided it doesn't release in 2021, which it might, but I'm gonna go ahead and just assume it's 2022 for now), Monster Hunter Rise Ultimate (the G rank expansion release), a potential Switch Pro... ya. 2022 is looking real good.

The complaints about the chibi artstyle in the DP remakes is literally the Link's Awakening reveal all over again.

@IceClimbers
I don't even listen anymore. I'm just over the Pokémon fanbase's opinion on anything.

Very excited for all this pokemon stuff. I started a new file in sword last night and intend to actually play through the entirety of it. I skipped every game until sword so I intend to go back and catch up over this year to be somewhat up to speed. Super excited for the legends game especially. And those remakes remind Me an awful lot of links awakening remake, which is a Good thing

I'm interested in both though more interested in the remakes. Diamond/Pearl was the point where Pokemon started feeling boring for me (X/Y was when my interest in Pokemon returned) so I'm interested to see if it was just franchise burnout at the time.

Legends I'm cautious about, from the initial trailer it looks like Pokemon BotW which is a bad thing though I could see some of the bad things about BotW fixed in BotW 2.

I'm pretty sure taking inspiration and matching the ambition of one of the most beloved and highly rated video games of all time is not a bad thing.

In fact, that's precisely what everyone has been asking for.

BotW's influence is spreading all around.

Genshin Impact, Immortals: Fenyx Rising, Monster Hunter Rise, now Pokemon.

You'd think BotW was a good game or something.

@Grumblevolcano even if you don't like botw you gotta admit this looks extremely ambitious and interesting. I wouldn't call myself a pokemon fan and even im super hyped for it. An open world pokemon game that on the website states 'action rpg' where most other pokemon games(at least what I can tell) simply state 'rpg'. So who knows what you'll be able to do in this game. But it seems promising.

People were expecting unreal engine type games. You know where a machoke actually looks like a steroid addict?

Honestly, I don’t get the complaints. They said they wanted a remake with nothing changed (all the complaints about lets go) and that is literally what they got. Still not happy. Folks are even saying that you should go buy the original version instead. That was particularly amusing to me.

@NintendoByNature Well at least with Pokemon there are traditional experiences available alternatives (e.g. Sword/Shield, Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl) whereas it took nearly 4 and a half years for Switch to get a traditional 3D Zelda game.

I haven't experienced a single enjoyable full open world game yet though there's plenty of semi open world games I've enjoyed. It's that situation that makes me cautious about games like BotW 2, Pokemon Legends Arceus, Halo Infinite, etc.

@JaxonH In general, the fanbase seems pretty happy with these announcements.

Of course, that means trolls online are pulling double-duty. Nobody expected the Pokemon direct to actually be good.
