Ugh I gotta put in for the Lyndis statue and I know I’m getting the Sakunahime nendoroid. Sigh. I hate being poor.

I wonder, if Sony bought Square Enix would the Bravely games and Octopath be able to be released on PS5?
It feels like Microsoft buying Bethesda will start another console war and Square Enix is the most Sony 3rd party. Hoping that the purchase is rejected.
I'll join in too. Here's how I rank the 3D Mario games:
1) Galaxy
2) Galaxy 2
3) Odyssey
4) 3D World
5) Sunshine
6) 64
7) 3D Land
8) 64 DS
They were a little hard to rank, admittedly. And who knows, I might change my rankings later on. With that said, though, the top 4 are the games that I REALLY like.

I'm still wondering when Nintendo will debut the mythical 64 GB game cards. What if.... what if Nintendo's proprietary cards are still so damn expensive to produce that game companies continue to skip them and only offer digital.
@WoomyNNYes
There is always going to be a market for physical games. Physical releases that require partial downloads to even enjoy the game are wastes of money, the consumer doesn’t get what they paid for. Bigger carts are more expensive true but we are talking on savings of a few cents here or there for the less capacity carts when they are already making the bank if they have a good product. Like anything else it only ends up costing them less than $5 per game to actually produce so saying they are going to be financially hurt by buying larger capacity carts negligible.
Considering almost nobody is willing to use 32GB cards, I find the prospect of offering larger-capacity cards to be a bit pointless. Nintendo will need to eat the costs by offering larger cards at lower prices to third parties if they're going to be adopted in any meaningful way, and I don't see any evidence of that happening.
There will always be a market for physical games, yes, but the future of game distribution is going to look increasingly digital. Especially as the physical-only dinosaurs of my generation are replaced by kids who grew up downloading and streaming their entertainment.
@GameOtaku I agree with you, but like Ralizah said above, so far, "almost nobody is willing to use the 32 GB card", and this is just the 32 GB card. I find that rather surprising 4 years after the launch of the Switch. I know Nintendo says/thinks the prices will come down, but so far there is a clear trend of 32 GB game cards scaring game companies off like the plague. Maybe the pandemic has halted larger cards.
Witcher 3 used a 32 GB card. I can't recall what else, but I'm pretty sure it's only like 2-3 games so far.
@WoomyNNYes
Considering the pandemic and all that may be slowing down larger releases. So far there’s not very many games that actually need that amount of storage. For compilations I don’t know why instead of forcing you to download partials they could instead have multiple smaller capacity carts in a box.
Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV is out on Switch, finally. Any of you Civilization VI fans out there, or history buffs, this game will be right up your alley.
There’s actually an English Asian physical version on Play-Asia as well. Had to order that too. I’ve been wanting this series on Switch for years now. Massively disappointed when I saw Nobanuga’s Ambition and Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII announced for Switch, but never made it out of Japan.

@JaxonH It's a good thing the physical version exists because the eShop prices are pretty crazy. Even still it's a bit much for me to take a chance on when I'm really not sure if I'd get into it or not, especially after taking a glance at its PC reviews.
Well my new Switch is arriving today. Can't wait to take my 1TB SD Card out of my current one, pop it into the new one, reformat it and then redownload 649GB of games 😭
Now Playing: Mario & Luigi Brothership, Sonic x Shadow Generations
Now Streaming: The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
The latest Switch drought is finally over, 3D World launching today begins the rather packed lineup that ends with MH Rise (sure there's New Pokemon Snap on April 30th but that's over a month after MH Rise).
@Grumblevolcano Going a month (in Jan, the traditional quiet time for new games) without a Ninty published game is a bit melodramatic for it to be a drought. Ninty released a game in Dec, before that another in Nov, a couple in Oct and another Sep. Admittingly some are games I wouldn't consider to buy but that's more on me than a lack of options.
Finally got my order for the LRG release of Samurai Shodown Collection. I'm mildly disappointed. As per usual LRG's collector editions are mediocre in terms of the quality of the packaging and the swag inside. That "Made in China" sticker on the bottom of the classic Neo Geo shockbox reeks of minimum effort for maximum profit. Ugh, I should've opted for the Pix N'Love version, but that's sold out now.
Japanese and Southeast Asian copies of Final Fantasy X/X-2. Both games are on the cartridge, where as the NA and EU versions only have FF X. As well as the Japanese exclusive release of Dragon Quest Heroes I & II double pack.
