I honestly don't see how Nintendo could ignore Zelda's anniversary. OoT, MM, WW and TP are just waiting to be rereleased, and the anniversary would be a perfect opportunity to market that SM3DAS-style. It would be simply weird for Nintendo to just drop these in the final few years of the Switch's life, or even weirder, for the Switch to go its entire life without a traditional 3D Zelda game (keep in mind that every 3D Zelda has been playable on every home console since its release, ignoring the Switch and I guess the non-BC versions of the Wii).
Then again, Metroid Prime Trilogy has felt like an obvious omission and we've still not got that so...
@Slowdive
Okay, that's what I was thinking, but I just wanted to double-check and see if I had (somehow) missed something. 🤔
@Shadowthrone
I know it still be peer to peer, but it sounds like the transition to NPLN will make it so that Nintendo can make adjustments to the netcode easier once the NPLN "system" is implemented, than they could with the NEX "system". 🤔
I want to get this straight, so NEX/NPLN are the "servers" for lobbies and matchmaking, while Pia is the peer to peer "connector" once you get into the lobbies, correct? 🤔
@link3710
For some reason, I didn't receive a notification that you replied to me, that's odd. 🤔
Anyways, I was actually joking about the "secrecy" of Capcom's and Nintendo's relationship, since Nintendo was letting Capcom in how to make the Switch more powerful and having the "newest" online tech.
That is true, Capcom has been with Nintendo the longest regardingtheir games on Nintendo systems, AFAIK.
I didn't realize Capcom helped Nintendo with a couple of its IP.
Now that you mention it, it does make sense as to why Nintendo approached Capcom for the Switch, I just hadn't really thought about it before. 🤔
Please give Ninjala a chance, guys. 🤔
As @Sunsy said,
Ninjala Gang FOR LIFE!
Also, if I don't respond to your post within a day (or two), don't worry, I'm not ignoring you. I'm going to be busy, though I will do my best to respond in a timely fashion.
I know people don't really like E3 any more but I miss it. that hype of know a game you may like will be shown at the event. the hype of all three days, I really miss it waiting for smash bros fighters to be reaveld, A new mario game it all was just so fun I really really loved the hype around it but now its dead And I wish it wasn't sigh.

@SM3DASislit Capcom and Nintendo have a really close relationship, almost as best friends, several Capcom franchises like Street Fighter and Mega Men started on Nintendo consoles or are associated with Nintendo,Capcom also worked with several Nintendo IP(Zelda and Kirby in that case), that why Nintendo accepted Capcom advice to increase Switch RAM memory(like your best friend giving you a really useful advice and you acepting this), RE 4 was previosly exclusive to the Game Cube, the Wii got the best version of RE 4.
Personally, since I watch it from home every year( except last), an all digital e3 is just fine by me. I actually really missed a week's worth of gaming news last year. More than I thought I would. 3 full days of streams, videos, and trailers is alright by me.
I think only Sony benefited from no E3 last year, that June PS5 event was very strong and made 2021 look like a very exciting year for PS5 but then again, Sony's last E3 was E3 2018 so it makes sense for Sony to be most prepared for the absence of E3.
Microsoft's July event was pretty much "Halo Infinite is the only early Series X|S era game" and Nintendo was silent for the vast majority of the summer.
I don't feel optimistic about the digital E3 2021 going ahead (Studios will have to pick between E3, Summer Game Fest, doing their own thing and perhaps Summer of Gaming too of which I think more will pick the latter 3) but I hope it does so Nintendo actually announces games.
@NintendoByNature YA I really missed E3 stuff last year even if its not really needed in the digital age. But its like a whole event just for us gamers. its just so fun to be a part of.

I'm just going to say that Forgotten Sepulcher is the worst level in dead cells I F***G hate it Its bad I really hate it. (Dead cells) I think it mostly bc I have a hard time managing fighting Monsters and light, its so annoying, I was haveing a great run and then this level had to show up, and wats worst is that you got to hope where your going has light. I was trying to take it slow but if the darkness starts getting to you, you have to book it, then all the monster just keep attacking you plus the ones that transport to you on top of finding light, then if it gets to dark you cant see, and start losing health. Just needed to vent a little still love this game and all and all the level isn't terrible, it just has alot of thing that differ from the other levels, maybe if I grab that power up at the start idk.
That's quick, Crash 4 already announced for Switch with March 12th release date. Perhaps the next Smash character is Crash rather than Monster Hunter then.
IGN jornalist Adam Bankhusrt sugest we gonna have a 35th anniversary Legend of Zelda Direct on february 18th, Kelios also reteweeted this person tweet, lets see if in february 18th this Zelda 35th anniversary Direct is real, if not the rumor is debuked.
@TheFrenchiestFry that’s what’s gonna happen, but no one can seem to see that😔
I’m saying it right now, Reimu or Phoenix Wright will be the next character
@TheFrenchiestFry While some are clearly side effects rather than the main reason (e.g. Terry, Steve), all the fighters pass characters except Banjo and Min Min has had a very recent or coming soon game at the time of character announcement:
@Grumblevolcano Terry did not at all tie into KoF XV. He was decided on as a fighter when KoF was probably still in pre-production and they hadn't even decided on platforms yet. When he came to Smash the most recent KoF game was the PS4/PC exclusive KoF XIV which actually had content repped in Smash
Joker was likely chosen because Atlus is one of Nintendo's most prolific and long lasting third party partners, and Persona was their marquee IP that could draw in consumers the way an SMT rep like Flynn or Demi-fiend couldn't
Steve was being negotiated on as early as the Smash Wii U DLC days so he was clearly someone they wanted to revisit due to Microsoft's transparency in collaboration towards Nintendo
Sephiroth was chosen more because Final Fantasy VII is a cultural juggernaut and he was the other big name star from that game, as well as adding onto Smash's focus on villain characters with Ultimate's roster. They definitely didn't add him to tie it in to a game that was locked behind an exclusivity agreement with another console maker, especially since FFVII itself is already on a Nintendo system anyway
The only ones in the roster that are actually flat out promoting new games or recently released games are Hero and Byleth. Hero because they flat out used the DQXI S promo material to tie it in to his Smash reveal and Byleth because Three Houses is the most popular FE game and had DLC drop for it right after Byleth came to Smash
