Topic: The Nintendo Switch Thread

@NintendoByNature I heard playasia no longer showing anything due to pandemic peoples.

So many games, even the " Wii shovelwares" style on both switch and PS4 such as My Universe games by Microids, Kawaii Japanese Switch games, Untitled Goose Games, Pretty Princess Party, Zoidd, etc.

@DannyBoi Do you think this is what Nintendo could have been quiet about, and doing maintenance to make sure it runs well?

......One piece of information that I can add to this is that I got in touch with some people from Guatemala, according to what they tell me, Max is an official Nintendo distributor in that country, it increases the possibilities a bit, but you still have to remain skeptical

@HobbitGamer Ubisoft did say that there'd be a 2nd Ubisoft Forward event in September, if the listing is real I'd imagine it would be announced at that event.

@HobbitGamer Lol. Do you think the silence is for the Mario remasters? Or maybe more, such as new services or an upgrade to switch online?

Even a maniac Switch physical collector like me has a difficult time getting excited about the Ikaruga physical release. Great game, no doubt. But $45 over msrp for a box, manual, sticker, and a pewter ship model? Ehhhhh that's about a $40 upcharge imo.

P.S. - It's probably a port of the '08 Prince of Persia and not a port of Sands of Time, which most folks would prefer.

Man, I LOVE all of the Prince of Persia games, from the original 2D stuff to the rebooted 3D games. I would preorder that puppy if it's true.

Just started playing CrossCode on the Switch. Hit the part where you can start unlocking skills, and knew this would be my next 50-100 hour game. Can't wait to play more tomorrow!

@eChameleon been eyeing it since it was announced coming to switch. But im still playing a ton of other stuff at the moment and like you said, it's a really long game

@DannyBoi While it's true there's trouble at Nintendo thanks to COVID, that doesn't mean that sales should go down like you originally stated.

Since 2015 there is always at least one Zelda game released each year so do you guys think this year will only be the physical release of Cadence or we can expect something more ? Maybe Nintendo is waiting for next year since it’s the 35th anniversary too.

@Duboiss Well, with them rereleasing every Zelda Amiibo, including the super rare 30th anniversary ones, I feel like at the least something is happening next year for the anniversary.

My mistake we have Zelda game every years since 2013 I forgot the original Hyrule warriors on Wii U, feels even weirder to not be getting anything this year

I dont really count this as a Zelda game. As i dont count Philips games.

@Kova Yeah I can't blame you, it's basically Crypt of the Necrodancer with a Zelda coat of paint. I thought I'd mention it anyway since it is Zelda-themed. lol
