Ring Fit Adventure – 3.9 million
Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition – 1.32 million (released May 29)
Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics – 1.03 million (released June 5)
Having a look at the link I noticed something. They haven't changed their forecast (which seems weird with the whole world going mad) so from an internal perspective everything they plan on releasing in the coming months is still coming out however the numbers of the forecast are lower than last years so FY2021/this year games aren't expected to be as strong as the FY2020/last year line up. There is a possibility they underestimated AC (there's no mention of it doing better than expected) so it's sales are making up for any games that might be delayed.
@jump They mentioned underestimating AC at the last quarterly financials, so that's probably it. A game that sold 22 mil copies can easily make up for an entire years software sales.
@Slowdive
I'm pretty sure that means XC:DE has surpassed the sales of XC, XCX, and XC3D now (none passed a million), and is only slightly behind where XC2 was in a similar timeframe (that was at 1.48 around now relative to its launch).
That's pretty darn good for a remaster in a niche series.

I'm not sure they would mention underestimating a game performance, that type of language wouldn't get used that often as it leads to an appearance of the company not understanding it's own products and their market value. They would more likely use "better than expected" sure.
AN is a FY20 release so 22m wouldn't entirely contribute to FY21s numbers. Even if AC does continue to do really well there's still need to be some other games along the way to make up theses numbers as the last FY there was Pokémon which was big as well plus several more modest hits like Zelda LA, Ring Fit Adventure, Luigi Mansion 3, Super Mario Maker 2 etc so there needs to be some other drivers beyond evergreens to reach the numbers they are mentioning for a 17% drop from last years sales.
@jump
Which lends credence to the idea that they do have at least one big seller coming between now and New Years, at the very least. Be it 3D World or a Collection, at least one of them has to be slated this year (or Jan-Mar 2021 if delayed, since that's also FY21).
@AndyD
Negative. Havent been keeping track well. There's not much on the way though so it should be easy enough to figure out.

Nintendo sent out their monthly newsletter. The headline is Cadence of Hyrule DLC. That's several tiles above Pikmin 3, because it's at least new. As is an ad for Joycon strapons. The newsletter rounds it out with Mario Jenga and Monoply non-videogames.
@Slowdive Xenoblade isn't quite a fair analysis as Nintendo never really sold the Wii original here in the US, co-publishing with GameStop and making it a retailer exclusive, with a fixed print run. Demand for the game was far greater than available supply. They ran a second print, at which time GameStop tore open the new copies and sold them used for MORE than retail price....becoming their own eBay scalpers.
Basically most of us that wanted the game on the Wii couldn't actually get it without paying exorbitant prices, so we just didn't. Then some of us settled for the New 3DS version later, but it wasn't really a replacemen. I realize that's an NA only problem, but suffice to say the original launch of Xenoblade on Wii more or less never actually happened here, so this is the first "real" chance to buy it other than on New 3DS.
@Slowdive Yep, that's why the game is all UK actors as well. NoA passed on the game entirely... Didn't believe it would sell. So NUK picked it up and footed the bill. Best risk/reward ever!
