@HobbitGamer I've never even looked at Pocket Camp. Main series AC is already light enough as it is for me, doubt I'd have any interest in a mobile spin-off.

I saw zeltik say that too. And game over Jesse on YouTube. I didn't catch it but they said they saw gerudo lettering

Everyone realizes that they showed the first couple of minutes of a game that is still 9 months away from release, right? I highly doubt we already know all of the intricacies about how it will play. Mario 3D World was (almost) universally panned after it's reveal, but the next time they showed it, it was awesome and now everybody loves it. Just enjoy the 7000 games that are coming out before we see more. I'm sure it will be great.

I don’t think AC looked bad or similar to Pocket Camp.... it does follow on ideas from New leaf though.

I have a chronic lack of time, for everything.

Now playing: Okami HD, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

To be honest, the only thing I could've asked for in the new AC is more locations to visit, more customization, and crafting. And, from the recent trailer, we know the latter two are a huge focus. If there's some other locations to visit, like the tropical island in New Leaf, then it's pretty much my ideal AC game.

It still needs all the stuff in New Leaf, of course. The charming characters, wonderful social sim gameplay, various seasonal celebrations, etc.

I'm pretty sure Animal Crossing is basically the same exact game every time anyway

People say AC doesn't change much, but the little changes they make are really impactful. As someone who started with New Leaf, I've found it almost impossible to enjoy previous games. They just feel... less... in comparison. Not different. Inferior.

As someone who has played both New Leaf and Pocket Camp, it looks nothing like PC (gameplay-wise that is, because obviously the graphics look similar, since you know, they're both AC). It looks like a vastly improved New Leaf to me and I don't know what more Animal Crossing fans would want. Not every game needs to re-invent the wheel every time they release a new instalment.

It looks like a big happy mix of regular animal crossing, desert island escape, and pocket camp, all in a really good balance.

I haven't played an Animal Crossing game yet. New Horizons will be my first. It looks charming :]

@Monkeido The problem is BotW, since that came out people seem to just want [insert franchise] BotW and it's becoming very annoying. At least the Switch is getting Link's Awakening, would've been very disappointing if the next Zelda game after BotW was BotW 2.

@Grumblevolcano Do you have both a Nintendo Switch and a Wii U? Which Nintendo Switch titles from E3 2019 are you most excited for? I am hyped for Super Smash Maker 2.

@Grumblevolcano Definitely true and I also find it somewhat annoying. Even more so, since even though I loved BotW, I didn't think it was better than some other Zelda games. Can't wait to play LA again!

For some reason my links awakening gameboy color cartridge is the only 'old' game I still have in my possession. I don't have a gameboy color to play it on though. I remember getting it when it first came out, duty free at an airport before a family holiday to Spain One of my favourite games of all time. I'm really looking forward to the reimagining of it releasing in September. I keep looking on Amazon (UK) for the special edition to preorder. So far they just have the standard edition

Luigi's Mansion 3 has changed to cloud saves supported in the eshop listing.

@Ralizah
Yes, please. I want to keep it as up-to-date and accurate as possible. I just made the correction you suggested, changed about half a dozen release dates that were incorrect or out of date, and I added another half dozen games I forgot, some of which were Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4, SMTV, Persona 5 Scramble and Zelda BotW 2.

It’s crazy when there’s so many games you leave can leave out some of the most hyped games announced and don’t even notice

@NintendoByNature
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say October. Not only would it be fitting for the type of game it is, October is the one month where Nintendo doesn’t have anything solid penciled in. I can’t imagine they’d squeeze it in for any other month, save perhaps December. But that just seems odd and in my opinion would only happen if they needed the extra couple months to finish development, or had some bigger game slated for October.

@JaxonH Be sure to add Senran Kagura: Peach Ball for July 9th.

But yeah, there's so many games (GOOD games!) releasing for the Switch that it's incredibly difficult to keep them straight. SMT V is my most anticipated game, but yeah, even I don't really notice its absence because there's such a sea of software.

If this is the sort of support I can expect for Nintendo systems from here on out, I don't think I'll need to worry about buying any more gaming hardware. It won't get everything, but it gets a lot of things, and probably most of the games that I actually want to play.

Yea, people just wanting another BotW game is frustrating. I really hope they make real themed dungeons this time. Maybe reintroduce very light item necessity again. BotW was good for what it was, but please stop making everything Ubisoft or Bethesda-style "open world." Zelda games have always had open maps - BotW could have been a third the size and still been big.
