Nintendo seems to want Zelda become a yearly franchise (just like Mario and Pokémon). 2D Zeldas are easier to develop for than big 3D open world Zeldas or even the linear ones. I doubt they'll stop unless if it's an abysmal seller (like less than a million copies sold).

@NEStalgia No loss there. The box art for Three Houses is pretty bad, which is why I didn't mind canceling my physical preorder. I'll just get it as one of my voucher games. Since it'll be preloaded, I'll have access to it sooner as well!

Silk Song and Solar Ash Kingdom are two that are missing, that spring to mind. Can't wait for both of those. Solar Ash Kingdom hasn't been confirmed for switch yet, but Heart Machine brought Hyper Light Drifter to switch with exclusive added content, so surely it's a safe bet that it's coming.

That's a pretty damn cool list.

Getting Ultimate Alliance 3, Fire Emblem, Astral Chain, Link's Awakening, DQ XI, Luigi's Mansion 3, Pokémon Sword and Alien Isolation.

The latter is a low-key favourite announcement.

They're missing quite a bit of games there like Doom Eternal (??????????????????? why) and Bloodstained. So that list isn't even complete!

@EvilLucario Doom Eternal (Switch) doesn't have a release date, or even release year yet. Bloodstained is out this week, so that's probably why.

It does say on the list that it’s not the complete listing... 😜

Yeah I'm not sure Doom Eternal is launching day and date with the other versions.

Nintendo's tweet during Bethesda's conference doesn't mention the release date, their software lineup sizzle reel listed it as "coming soon", and that infographic doesn't even list the game.

Pretty sure Doug Bowser confirmed twice during the Nintendo Podcast that Doom Eternal was launching day and date. At least, that’s what I read. It was also stated earlier they were targeting day and date. So we’ve been told several times, as recently as yesterday or the day before, the game is releasing day and date. I see no reason to believe otherwise.

Also, the official list keeps growing. Every day I remember a few more games that I forgot to add.

Could possibly be a hint for Doomguy in Smash, DQXI S was given vague release windows until DQ Hero was announced for Smash. Or maybe when the E3 Direct was made, Bethesda didn't have a specific release date ready.

@Grumblevolcano Speaking of Smash, I do wonder if they'll end up extending the deadline for the Fighters Pass by a month or two. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest honestly.

This guy gets it. He’s decoded the Breath of the Wild 2 trailer.

The swirling green lines? They’re actually text. Gerudo text from sages that sealed away Ganondorf. The two words “SEAL” and “GANON” are translated out of the swirling green lines. The hand holding the corpse’s chest is quite literally the personification of the spell on the scroll sealing him away.

And his neck was snapped by Zant in Twilight Princess, right? Well, when he comes back to life in the trailer, his neck snaps back into place. This is THE Ganon, as he put it.

There would also be the events that took place 10000 years lrior to BOTW.

Since that game takes place after each timeline, it cant just be Ganondorf from TP.

@Anti-Matter Sorry for your disappointment about the camera angle, but it does actually look kinda alright for some 2 player slugfests if the price is right. I’ll keep an eye out for this.

Crypt of the Necrodancer is taking a bit of bashing. Of all the rougueish procedurally generated games I’ve tried (admittedly not that many because I avoided the genre initially) I’d say it’s my second favourite, only behind Dead Cells.

As for AC:New Horizons - I’m with Anti-matter in thinking it’s sticking too close to the previous games, from what I’ve read and the treehouse footage I skimmed through, some light crafting and being able to store stuff externally seem to be the main single player differences.

@gcunit It’s starting to feel like they just combined Pocket Camp with New Leaf ☹️
