@OorWullie You're using a dataset that only includes games that sold at least 1 million during the 2018-19 FY. ARMS didn't make that list, but it had sold 1.8 million copies at the end of 2017-18 FY. Though somehow you've included 1-2 Switch, which didn't make this year's list.

Other million sellers from last year not making this year's list - Pokken and Xeno 2.

@OorWullie yeah nintendo is always coy about that stuff. They do not talk about x thing until x thing is announced, so they deny it until then. Would not be shicked if a revision is announced today or tomorrow.

@JaxonH Three months ago, Let's Go was a flat 10 million, not 12.

Switch hardware seemed to even miss the 17m revised goal. It hit 16.95m instead for this fiscal... oof.

I wonder if they overstocked this time around.

A little more than two million Switches sold last quarter (32.27m Dec 2018 to 34.74 March 2019).

Switch continues to do well.

I was expecting another fighting game (I'm sure it's still coming). I'm not sure why I didn't think of a musou crossover, what with games like Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem Warriors.

This is really cool, though, and one I'm actually genuinely excited for.

Can't believe Nintendo let Joker in Smash Bros just to get a dumb warriors game and a spin off on a 240 handheld. Fantastic.

@MsJubilee There's always the possibility they did it to secure Persona 6, who knows? I highly doubt either of those games were the big negotiation points of Joker in Smash.

Hmm...not sure how I feel about it. I mean it looks really cool. But I'm more and more feeling like if you've played one Musou game, you've already really played them all, and a little more flash or cool features dosn't make up for the "I've already played this so much" feeling.

Mario Tennis Aces is getting a demo with another NSO free trial.

i wouldn't care if it was a spinoff Persona 5 game coming to switch. but, why another warriors game? There's so many of these Games on all Platforms that's making me crazy 🤪.
On the bright side though, if this does well enough. maybe will get a mainline Persona game on Switch? if not, that tell me to buy myself a PS4 for that and some other games.

@subpopz Normally I'd have a counterargument, but yeah, Musouwise you have Samurai Warriors, Zelda, Fire Emblem, Gundam, Warriors Orochi, Dragon Quest (2 of them), and One Piece already here. If this was pulling from SMT and Persona, or even just all 5(6) Persona games, I could see a far higher proportion of sales on the Switch since the chances of people being familiar is much higher given those games are either Nintendo based or on the PSX/PS2 and PSP/Vita, so Switch owners are by sheer numbers more likely to have had a chance to play them.

The best I can say is there is a significant cross-population of PS4 owners and Switch owners, and Musou games are far better suited to portables in my opinion so it may see sales there.

Forget Battlefield: Call of Honor's Creed. Musou is now the most overmade recycled franchise around.

Musou hasn't reached a pinnacle until there's Walking Dead Warriors, or a similar zombie-centric franchise in a Musou format.

@subpopz i don't think it's necessarily with just people who haven't tried Persona in general, but Persona fans as well. and maybe that's not the case, we could see a Persona 5 fighting game next year for Switch and PS4 instead of a Persona 5 port.

Listen man, I don't really care about Musou games but if they make Xenoblade Warriors, I'm there day one and buying two copies.
