also happy that Super Mario Maker 2 is coming June 28, 2019. Day 1 for sure!

A month and a half until E3, it's pretty exciting. The release schedule from August through December is loaded with games that have no set release dates (Daemon X Machina, Dragon Quest XI, Pokemon Sword/Shield, Luigi's Mansion 3, Animal Crossing, and Link's Awakening). I assume all those will be given dates at E3. Of all those games, I wouldn't be surprised if DQ XI slipped into early 2020.
The Square Enix E3 press event on June 10th should be interesting.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,536 games (as of December 14th, 2025)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 4 games (as of December 8th, 2025)
if this comes to the west, i'll be sure to buy it instead of the regular physical version. https://gonintendo.com/stories/333942-super-mario-maker-2-spe...
this Special Package included a NSO Sub and a touch pen as a pre-order bonus for Super Mario Maker 2.

It says the touch pen comes with the regular pre-order version too, so all you're doing is presumably paying more for the NSO sub, when it'll likely still be cheaper to buy a family sub and split it anyway.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
So Nintendo have said there will be no new hardware revealed at E3. That doesn't rule out them revealing it before then though. I'm expecting there to be an Animal Crossing Direct next month so I reckon the Switch Mini will be revealed then, along with a special Animal Crossing edition.
34.74 million Switch's sold as of 31st March.It's now surpassed the N64.
The sales numbers for 1st party games are really impressive. Yoshi is already a million seller. It's a shame ARMS never made it to a million. I can't imagine we'll ever get a sequel to it.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 16.69 million units
Super Mario Odyssey – 14.44 million units
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 13.81 million units
Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 12.77 million units
Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu / Eevee – 10.63 million units
Splatoon 2 – 8.70 million units
Super Mario Party – 6.40 million units
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe – 3.31 million units
1-2 Switch – 2.97 million units
Mario Tennis Aces – 2.64 million units
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze – 2.25 million units
Kirby Star Allies – 2.56 million units
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker – 1.18 million units
Octopath Traveler – 1.17 million units (excluding Japan)
Yoshi’s Crafted World – 1.11 million units
Nintendo Labo Variety Kit – 1.09 million units
@OorWullie
???
Arms sold over 2 million by last year's counts.
And wasn't Pokemom Let's Go at 12 million sold like 3 months ago? How did it move backward?
Something fishy going on here
Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions
Zachariah 12:10 (500 yrs before Christ)
They will look on Me whom they pierced
@OorWullie You're using a dataset that only includes games that sold at least 1 million during the 2018-19 FY. ARMS didn't make that list, but it had sold 1.8 million copies at the end of 2017-18 FY. Though somehow you've included 1-2 Switch, which didn't make this year's list.
Other million sellers from last year not making this year's list - Pokken and Xeno 2.
@OorWullie yeah nintendo is always coy about that stuff. They do not talk about x thing until x thing is announced, so they deny it until then. Would not be shicked if a revision is announced today or tomorrow.

Luigis mansion should be easy to figure out when it releases, late october. Unless it is delayed...
I was expecting another fighting game (I'm sure it's still coming). I'm not sure why I didn't think of a musou crossover, what with games like Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem Warriors.
This is really cool, though, and one I'm actually genuinely excited for.
Currently Playing: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (NS2); Corpse Factory (PC)
@MsJubilee There's always the possibility they did it to secure Persona 6, who knows? I highly doubt either of those games were the big negotiation points of Joker in Smash.
Hmm...not sure how I feel about it. I mean it looks really cool. But I'm more and more feeling like if you've played one Musou game, you've already really played them all, and a little more flash or cool features dosn't make up for the "I've already played this so much" feeling.
