The description of the Labo kit on the news feed says "basic VR technology to create a simple and shareable virtual reality experience for kids and families."
I doubt it's going to go much further than a handful of simple mini games.
@OorWullie Face Raiders-type minigame with that blaster, Iād imagine. Iām more interested in the Garage mode for this kit. Since the vehicle kit had changed to it, maybe this will.

That's probably all it can really do, honestly. VR typically requires a decent chunk of power for more traditional games. Anything the Nintendo one has will be very small and simplistic, which should be fun enough for kids, nothing wrong there, just uninteresting to me
Starting to think there could be a big Mario themed direct in may. Talks about Super Mario Maker 2, DR. Mario World, Mario Kart Tour, maybe MK8DX DLC and a surprise Mario and DK Minis switch eshop game.
I should probably just accept that nintendo's stuff isn't for me anymore then. Also not intereated in ports I can play on ps or xbox with cheaper prices and sometimes superior visuals like doom. Not fiull price double dipping on first party won't do it for third party either.
@WebHead If on PC, click your user name in the upper right corner, then choose "View Profile" from the menu. Then you'll see a little pad and pen in the upper right corner where you can edit your profile.

My predictions for Direct timing:
March - Nindies Showcase a week or 2 before PAX East
April - Smash Direct or a general Direct the week after PAX East (maybe announced at the tournament final), Mario Maker Direct later in April if no general Direct
May - Fire Emblem Direct
June - Pokemon Direct before E3, E3 focused on Animal Crossing as much as they focused on Smash last year
July - Astral Chain Direct
August - Animal Crossing Direct earlier in August, Nindies Showcase a week or 2 before PAX West
September - General Direct
October or November - Smash Direct
@link3710 Well it all comes to me thinking that Nintendo's doing to pull another Smash Ultimate with Animal Crossing. If E3 is more balanced like 2017 you don't need the Fire Emblem and Astral Chain Directs because those 2 games would be covered enough at E3.
