Turok brings back memories. This and Mario 64 were my first n64 games so I played a boat load of turok

Yea, just saw the Turok announcement. It's not a remaster, though, and dang - that thing hasn't aged well, and I don't just mean in the graphics.

@rallydefault it said updated graphics but I don't know if that constitutes as remaster

@nintendobynature Well, they muddied the waters by saying it has a new engine too. I mean, I guessss because there’s less fog. But yeh, “new engine”.

@JackEatsSparrows i doubt alot of people will bite on this. I feel like all they had to do was a serious overhaul on it, announce it in a direct and it wouldve sold like hot cakes..the way they went about it announcing it 2 weeks in advance won't have many takers. With that said, I'm intrigued to buy it for some reason. What's even worse, i have the cart and my n64 10ft from my bed and I can easily just play it there. Ahhh anytime anywhere always gets me tho

Apparently, it's a port of the upgraded version that was also released on PC a while back.

Still kinda weird, though. People were all up in arms about Nintendo needing to hurry up with the N64 and GameCube ports on Switch already, and now we're actually getting some, people are complaining about how bad they look on a modern screen.

Even my dad could have told you people that, and he doesn't even play computer games...

With star tropics announced for switch online, I'm really considering the f30 8bitdo or the m30. No way I can play that game without a dpad. LoZ was hard enough. But the way you move In star tropics really requires a dpad. I've never finished it but now's my chance
