@GrailUK No, on the internet you are allowed to attack people for having different opinions to you and shout hatred at companies like Nintendo for not having the exacting standards in the Directs you want, or for making games on a console you hate if you are a PlayStation/Xbox fan. Everything else is strictly off limits

@GrailUK There, there. Sit down, relax, have a cuppa of whatever you're into...
Wouldn't mind any juicy morsels or surprises either, but I'm keeping the expectation level low, seeing as Fire Emblem is probably/more than likely the biggest feature, so there'll be little left of that 35 minutes to truly blow us away with anything spectacular. They'll probably safe that for E3 2019...
@ThanosReXXX After E3 last year, I think it's obvious they are going to focus mostly on one game so once again I wouldn't expect to see anything too much of anything else. Again.

Wuhu Resort Paradise will be an open world RPG, as well as bring all the sports from the Wii Sports games and expand on them, and also be a mystery adventure. Oh, and it'll be the first thing the Switch boots into with the ability to access the proper menu through a Swatch on your Mii's wrist.
@FragRed Well, they didn't have much else to show back then. Now, what with the rumors already being partially confirmed (Direct date correctly predicted, possible games also) the rest of it could very likely be revealed at or around this year's E3. And of course there's also the matter of Nintendo's own announcement of there still being 11 previously unannounced titles, that are supposed to be for 2019 as well, so I think they're finally catching up, and are really starting to pad out their catalog.
Then again: it's not like there isn't enough to choose from already, unless you hate indies and Wii U ports...

@Grumblevolcano Whatever the big holiday game for 2019 will be other than Pokemon (I am not expecting that game to be Animal Crossing) it will certainly be more of the same format to last year. Despite so much anger on the internet, the bottom line is the sales of Smash Bros Ultimate was insane.

@FragRed I think Animal Crossing will be September so while not quite holiday it's close enough to have an E3 focus. E3 2015's focus (to a similar level as Odyssey in 2017, not as extreme as BotW in 2016 and Smash in 2018) was Super Mario Maker which was a September release.
@Grumblevolcano But then what does Nintendo use for their big fall game which isn't Pokemon? They aren't going to miss out on the biggest period for hardware and software sales.

@FragRed Something they announce. Remember we didn't know about Smash and Mario Party until March and E3 respectively. Plenty of time for them to drop a reveal in the next few months and surprise Xmas title away.

Look. I firmly believe Nintendo are really transparent. The president basically said that the first half of last year was too quiet and as a result disappointing. If this direct isn't going to be big leading up to E3, then what exactly is his job? Commentary? Come on.
I never drive faster than I can see. Besides, it's all in the reflexes.
And of course there's also the matter of Nintendo's own announcement of there still being 11 previously unannounced titles, that are supposed to be for 2019 as well
Is this a predicted announcement in tomorrow's Direct, or one you think has already happened?
@GrailUK Nintendo talked alot in the Wii U era, rarely did it amount to much. Please understand
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
I believe GrailUK is right, inasmuch as this Direct will be decently hefty.
That said, they MUST have some surprises at E3. I dont care how long they focus on one game. Even last E3 had several big surprises. Every E3 does.
And as such, they MUST save some announcements for E3. They have to. Cant blow their entire load now and just do Treehouse and Pokemon showcase Direct at E3. And with that in mind, they're very unlikely to reveal the only 2 new games they have left to announce this year. Much more likely to reveal the ports, and save the couple new games for E3.
Doesnt mean the Direct cant be substantial. 2-3 Wii U ports, 1 new game and an onslaught of 3rd party would be plenty.

@FragRed Having Animal Crossing in September and Pokemon in November would be enough for bigger titles near and during the holidays so fill in the gaps with smaller titles like Luigi's Mansion 3 in October and Metroid Prime Trilogy in December.
@gcunit The 11 games have already been mentioned by Nintendo, as in them literally saying that there's still 11 unannounced titles that will be released in 2019. It was even featured in an article on here a couple of days ago. So, it's no rumor. But I don't think they're going to be in tomorrow's Direct, if that is what you're wondering about.
EDIT:
Okay... so I looked up the article, and it seems that the painkillers I'm currently on, have clouded my brain just a little bit more than I thought they did. There's no mention of 11 games, and they say they're not ALL for 2019.
