Those that are anxious for a Direct are setting themselves up for disappointment. Seriously, all of January there were tons of leaks that were all fake, yet they still think it’s coming right after the Nindie Presentation. 🤔🧐

I am excited as all hell for another direct and have the most unrealistic expectations. My life is just a rollercoaster of intense excitement, disappointment, hype and confusion but I love that
Gen-8'mon Direct, followed by an Animal Crossing Direct, followed by a Direct that's meant to be a general one but actually ends up being one centred on F-Zero. Then a general one in March that announces the Metroid Prime Trilogy, a new Zelda, and a fully explorable Wuhu Island that offers complete freedom in things to do. Which then ends with the announcement that a special version of Rare Replay is being released thanks to Microsoft co-operation, along with the return of Midtown Madness exclusively on Switch.
While it's disappointing that Assassins Creed III is not coming to the Switch, how many people would buy what is arguably the weakest game in the series to date??
@GyroZeppeli April 1st has nothing on unrealistic expectations. If you buy into the hype of anything, you're only buying into disappointment [in terms of the unrealistic part, anyway].
I agree that Unity was a complete and utter mess at launch and took numerous patches to get it to an acceptable level, I was referring to the story line in AC III to be considered by many the weakest entry so far.
@WebHead Not even that, apart from Yoshi and Daemon X Machina we know virtually nothing about the games that have been announced with the latter not having a release date either.
@DarthNocturnal and @bluemage1989, it's good to see AC III has some fans, personally I had it on WiiU and sold it after completing it. While I liked the historical setting this entry in the series just didn't click with me after the first act.
@Farmboy74 I just grabbed it on WiiU for less than $2 in December. I haven't gone much into playing as Connor, so I'll probably wait and think about it if a Switch version is announced. I played it back on release, so it'd be fresh enough. I'd like to have Rogue, though. or even the Ezio trilogy. Maybe they're trying to pull a Skyrim and release III on everything they can. (Without thinking it through, haha)
