@JaxonH Is it more like Monster Hunter, or more like Skyrim/The Witcher? In terms of mechanics and systems. I found MH3 to be quite complicated, and I never finished the game because of it, same with the Wii U game. MHW was a bit more refined, but it still confuses the heck out of me lol.

@Octane
I'd say more like Skyrim and less like MH. But the combat is awesome like MH with crazy cool monsters and enemies, from Skyrim and Dark Soul type enemies to MH type enemies.

It's not a simple game, I wont pretend otherwise, but I dont think it's as hard to learn as MH

But beware of the “TES Oblivion OMG don’t look at me” faces.

I remember liking certain parts of the game quite a bit, the combat for example like Jaxon said, is still quite exciting and deep. But something about the whole progression in this game is a bit tiring to me. I do hear it gets a lot better later on if you stick with it.

Annoying that that article cites a PR email as the source, but doesn't include any quotes from the email. No word on physical release.

YES!!!

Dude, this week is rockin it. Triple dose of Final Fantasy coming in April, just 3 months away!

Tales of Vesperia starts today.
That and NSMBU will last til Dragon's Dogma in March (poor Yoshi and Mortal Kombat 11 and Trials Rising might have to take the back burner), which hopefully I'll have beaten by April when FFX, FFX-2 and FFXII drop. Oh my gosh, 2019 is the real rock star

#2019 for president

@gcunit
Physical release is already up for preorder on Amazon and BestBuy website, and has been for some time.

I guess I'll pass on Dragon's Dogma when it releases, then, as I'll be going directly from Toejam and Earl: Back in the Groove to Yoshi to Final Fantasy XII, and then, in all likelihood, Fire Emblem.

@DarthNocturnal Some of the other FF games may come earlier. We don't know release dates for VII, IX, Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon and Crystal Chronicles yet.

Honestly theres so much for me to play well into March that I'm actually content with no big releases in February. I have 3 switch games to keep me busy. Smash nsmbu and onimusha. I can see myself sinking 20 or 30 more hours at least into smash by March. Plus now having a wii u, i have so many games to pick up while waiting for more switch games to release. I will say,I've seen quite a few you tubers saying metroid prime trilogy is coming and possibly next month. It was apparently supposed to be announced at the game awards but got pulled last minute. They're certain it's in development for switch

wow! we may not be getting a January direct at all. Final Fantasy? Yoshi? Kirby? Capcom's Game? you think those would be in a direct and not being announced randomly on social media.

i'm hoping will hear FF7's release date soon, than start planning to get 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 on other platforms and 7, 9, 10 and 12 on switch.

@DarthNocturnal X/X-2 HD and XII have physical versions. I doubt VII and IX will have physical versions and digital only games can be saved for "out now" reveals.

@JaxonH Can't find them on UK Amazon. I'll have to research Europe plans.

@Aozz101x They're clearing all these minor announcements to make way for more Labo.

@linq well don't take my word for it. Im No insider that's for sure. But, if you watch spawn wave media on YouTube and rgt85, they've been talking about it for over a month. Spawn wave does a podcast every Saturday with a panel of 5 or 6 youtubers in the industry and it's been brought up during the podcast and they all seem to be in agreement per their sources. So it could be true but who knows
