@EvilLucario I'm over there a fair bit. The people who actually post on the forum are generally pretty cool, and I've had a lot of good discussions on there. It's just that the trolls primarily comment on the articles. In that respect, it's a lot like NL.

@Knuckles-Fajita I knew this was going to happen. Every time some new unlikely rumor comes out from these ResetEra "insiders," it turns out to be horsepuckey.

Anyway, it's pretty sad when you realize that most of these trolls are probably in their 30's.

But if you can look past the extremes you'll find a ton of level-headed and reasonable users on both sites.

@Ralizah Oh, that's good. I guess to be fair, if my only experience with NL was with the comments section, I wouldn't want to go to the forums either. But tbh I probably won't contribute much of anything since I don't own a PS4, I own a Bloodborne machine :^]

@Octane On both sites, you're generally good if you ignore the comments under the articles.

I can agree the forums here and in Push Square are much friendly (almost) than the comment sections in the articles. I find you guys in the forums much more sane and friendly except for a few that I won't mention.

Yeah, I don’t go to PS anymore.

I think what you’ll find is most people here own other consoles, whereas most people there are diehard Sony only. It’s just a general observation I’ve made. What drove me away was when Switch was releasing, and you had practically everyone on that site includin Sammy bashing the system as “ worst laughing stock in gaming history that was going to fail harder than Wii U”...

I just said I can’t do this anymore. This isn’t a place for people who love video games to congregate. This is a place for people who love Sony and hate everything else congregate. That’s not to say you don’t see some of that on Nintendo Life also. It just seems far more cultlike over there and as a general rule far more people are multi console owners here. But even here can get pretty bad so I try to stick to the forums nowadays.

As for P5, I wouldn’t expect an announcement so soon anyways. I figure anything that comes to Switch will release on PS4 also. They are not going to give up that opportunity to resell the game to the people who don’t have a Switch. I would expect to hear something by the time Joker releases in Smash. If we haven’t heard anything by then I’d say there’s a pretty good chance it’s not going to happen. Not to say it’s 100% certain because they could’ve contracted out to a studio that’s going to take until next holiday season, but if I haven’t heard anything by the time he comes to smash I think I’ll be convinced it’s most likely not gonna happen.

Right now all we can do is wait.

But nope, never their fault.

I only go to PS to either A) Inflate their egos and make em feel better, or B) Find out some info to send to friends.

Outside of that.....yeeeeeaaahhhh I may be crazy but at least I'm not in denial.

Pure Xbox was nice. And I’m not even that big of an Xbox fan. But I liked going there because of the multi-console-culture and general friendliness toward other platforms. It was a very small site, and that I never understood because there’s a lot of Xbox gamers out there. I think at that time though there was a lot of negative sentiment toward the brand.

@JaxonH I liked X360 achievements site. The forums were pretty good. Part of that is because a lot of the users were in it for the long haul on cheevos and just helpful in general. Kind of like hanging at a mechanics shop versus an autozone.

I’ve been looking for a good Xbox site to get news from and even a community like this one... there are no good Xbox communities out there that I can find. It sucks.

We should start a new multi-console site, and to be a member you have to prove you own multiple consoles, and any irrational hatred toward one particular platform is an instant ban. Not to say you can’t have preferences. Everyone has those.

We’ll call it “PureNintendoSquares”... no wait... “NintendoSquareBox”... still no? ... ok how bout this... “PushboxLife”... sigh... I give up

@JaxonH I thought Nlife owned an Xbox website but that seems to have gone? I remember when Teamxbox used to be a website but IGN shut that down a few years back.

The previous two games are more purely Metroidvanian, but this game's approach, where you get several large areas to explore, minimized the amount of backtracking in this compared to other games in the series while also allowing for good level design. Also, the focus on tools over transformations generally sped up the gameplay.

I'm curious what you'll think of HGH. That game tends to be pretty controversial in the Shantae fandom.

Last time i checked Original Xbox machine from my friend, Original Xbox's size was very Bulky and Heavy. I was thinking how heavy that video game machine for just only playing Dance Dance Revolution UltraMix 1 - 4 , the ONLY XBOX games i want to play on it. Btw, my friend's XBOX was the Clear case edition. What region of that machine ?

Oh, and I dunno where that clear Xbox was from. I think NA only had black for standard. May have been a green or Mountain Dew orange at some point, too.
