Metroid Prime Switch would get me to really dig into the thing again after a pretty quiet year in my house. I hope they can somehow maintain the motion controls for those who like them, but we'll see. Having them all portable is pretty cool on its own
With the new game coming I am pretty sure Nintendo would like to introduce the series to those millions of Switch owners, and make some money in the process of course.

I'd have to skip it, as I have the Trilogy sitting on my Wii U hard drive. I can't really justify repurchasing something I already own at full price.
With that said, re-releasing the Trilogy on Switch is a no-brainer, and a perfect way to whet the appetite of series newbies and Switch owners for Metroid Prime 4 in 2020.
Currently Playing: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (NS2); Corpse Factory (PC)
On another note, I am having issues with my internet lately. Whenever I played Splatoon 2 (I mentioned this in the Splatoon 2 thread), I always get Connection is unstable and I in my opinion, don't think it's because of the servers, but I think it's my internet acting up.
So I am taking a break from Splatoon 2 until I can get my internet fixed. I can still use my wifi in my laptop, but it's acting up sometimes. I forgot to mention that the wireless network I'm using is a private one. Because of that, my Switch has problems connecting to the internet, so I had to turn my laptop into a mobile hotspot to fix this problem.
Back on topic, if it is a Metroid Prime trilogy remaster for Switch, I would totally buy it. But one thing I want if this Metroid Prime Trilogy for Switch is real, is online multiplayer. That would be awesome.
@Alantor28 You’ve already tried dumping the power to the modem and router for a few minutes, right? I have to imagine this is a heavy time of year for ISPs though.

Yea I really hope the mp trilogy is a real thing. I honestly never played any prime games that i recall. I've beaten return of Samus only and am still working my through Samus returns. Ive played a little of super metroid and the original but as im sure people understand. Id rather play any game on my switch isntead. So if a trilogy is coming I'd pay $60 at the drop of hat as i enjoy the series and never played any prime games.
I’d pay an unlimited sum of gold, silver, platinum and US currency, and perhaps even internal organs, depending which ones they were, for Metroid Prime Trilogy on Switch.
I have it on Wii U, but it’s just the Wii version. I have on GPD Win 2, but the Wii versions with motion don’t work well on a handheld with analog. You can map the motion but the fact the cursor springs back to the center when you’re not moving the analog really makes aiming hard. So I can play the first two Gamecube versions, but those don’t have any form of dual analog control.
I want them in HD. I want dual analog control. I want gyro hybrid motion control scheme. I want portable HD versions and console HD versions. I want. These. Games. On. Switch. I would quite literally give up a whole basket of other releases in exchange for that trilogy.
And that is precisely why it’s not going to happen... I’m never that lucky. Plus, every time Nintendo fans think they know what Nintendo is going to do, and what they’re going to announce, they get a rude awakening.

Quick question guys, do you think Splatoon 2 is fine without delicate servers? I played Splatoon 2 and have few unstable connections on it, but so far, the servers for Splatoon 2 are fine.
I think it's a safe bet. Has a retailer listing ever been wrong before? Only time I recall was when GameStop listed Wolfenstein Young Blood for Switch, and later pulled it. But then Bethesda confirmed the next Wolf game is indeed coming to Switch.
@Alantor28 A lot of games actually don't use dedicated servers, like Destiny. Netcode is most important. Servers don't mean anything if you're like Halo MCC which had multiple connection problems.
That said, servers would help for Splatoon.

I run a YouTube/Twitch channel for fun. Check me out if you want to!
Please let me know before you send me a FC request, thanks.
I remember buying Metroid Prime Trilogy on Wii U. To be honest, it didn't really pull me in all that much. I want to be excited like everyone else, but I don't think Metroid is for me. I suppose I can try again some day.
