@Grumblevolcano I’m okay with that, since we’re past the sepia-tone graphics age 😂
@Knuckles-Fajita When we had a game night a few days ago, bestie and I were doing some coop in PLG when the other bestest says “I know Charizard. He’s in that fighting game. See, I pay attention!”
We turn to look at her and I go “Yeah, TT used him last week in Smash 4”
Her reply had us all rolling; “Oh...I meant that Pokémon tournament game”
@HobbitGamer
It's probably not a problem for most. I'm just lazy (well, not really- I work hard but when I'm not working I prefer spending as little time driving around to stores as possible, especially in the age of online shopping).
If nothing else, you can always score for $19.99. Not the worst price one could pay.

Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)

@JaxonH Nah, I’m the same. Especially since I live in a semi-rural area. I even considered changing my office’s hours for Dec 6 so I don’t have to drive out of and back in to town for Smash at midnight, lol
Has anyone given ‘Oddball King’ and/or ‘60 Seconds!’ a go? They’re quite cheap and piqued my interest.

The PowerA GCN-styled wireless controller feels great. Feels brilliant to be using with Mario Kart, and despite needing a bit of time to get used to the placement it also works wonders with Splatoon. The motion control in it being just as good as the official Pro controller helps with that as well.
Unfortunate it needs batteries, but that shouldn't really be a problem, and they give it a bit more weight.
Any good deals on physical games in the Netherlands? Haven't really found any spectacular. I'm mainly in the market for Civ 6 (probably to early for a good sale though ) and perhaps Doom or Wolf at the right price. I still want Starlink digital because I don't want to worry about the toys.
@Octane I suppose it is a good thing. I think I'm just used to the ability to charge the Pro through a laptop while still using it on the Switch itself.
@Octane that's a great overview, thanks a lot! Unfortunately not really anything for me though. That does mean that I can finally actually order Civilization VI and satiate my hunger for world domination! Btw, are you Dutch? Never realized if so.
Another coworker at Switchworld just bought a Switch. He informed yours truly (aka the Switchmaster of Switchworld) via text just moments ago.
The Diablo 3 Switch Bundle for $359 + $50 gift card pulled him in. I suspect another person, who works with him in our other plant, will also now get one. He's shown interest for a while, and often asks me about it, but now that his dayshift partner has gotten one too... it's only a matter of time.
Told him I could provide him with a tempered glass screen protector and 256gb microSD as a Christmas gift, since I always get the guys in the lab a game or eShop card each year, and have extras of both screen protectors and microSD cards from upgrading as bigger cards released.
That and likely people getting systems for the holidays. Those are two big heavy hitters to start a library off with.

Of course if you're not pushing the limits of your storage, the $80 400gb is better bang for buck. But if you need every last gigabyte you can squeeze out of the system this is a heck of a deal. It costs more if you live in Europe because you'll have to pay the VAT. But if you're importing outside of Europe the VAT is removed during check out.
