@Tsurii
Actually, i also don't like Dragon Ball games. (Characters, storyline, etc)
But.....
The fighting in the air gave me some ideas for my Boxers......
@EvilLucario I'm not a Dragon Ball fan....or an anime fan in general for that matter, nor am I a fighting enthusiast (though I'm recently getting hooked), but I have to say DB:FZ is just incredibly fun. No knowledge of DB really plays into it though I bet it's fun for fans. Personally, my exposure to DB at this point makes me wonder why it's so popular among adults. Unlike some anime it really seems to be just a Saturday morning cartoon for kids..... (but that doesn't interfere with the game being excellent.)
I actually prefer today's cartoons, they're starting to get made with some nice depth rather than the weekly random wacky hijinks type of writing. Then there's stuff like Uncle Grandpa
There's always been cartoons and anime that have had longer story arcs or threads (Gargoyles, Dragon Ball Z, OG Teen Titans, Yu-GiOh!, Avatar, ReBoot, etc.), but they seemed like they were limited to the more action oriented series, while comedic shows (Dexter's Lab, Rugrats, Fairly Odd Parents, Spongebob, etc.) always seemed to be more skit or episodic based.
While I haven't actually watched any of the newer cartoons, many that people seem to be praising for finally adding deeper plots seem to be on the more comedic side of things, so maybe it's just more of an advancement for comedic cartoons.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
Yeah, it's just to promote WarioWare Gold. They did the same thing with the Super Mario UK account, and even the 3DS eShop got taken over by Wario in Europe. Very cool marketing if you ask me!
Thank you Nintendo for giving us Donkey Kong Jr Math on Nintendo Music
Either that, or it's just a troll because the person who runs the account Wario knew that people would jump to conclusions that this was foreshadowing a Direct
@Knuckles-Fajita The time glitch went weird, yesterday (2nd) it changed to X hours ago where X is the number of hours since midnight and it repeated today. Currently it says 23 hours ago.
It looked like a weird time glitch and turned out to be one.
Considering how historically throughout all of the handhelds we had gotten rereleases of all of the Super Mario platformers (Super Mario Bros DX on GBC, the Super Mario Advance series on the GBA, and Super Mario 64x4 on the DS) I expected that a Super Mario Sunshine port might come to the 3DS someday. It's weird that we didn't now that I think about it. I guess it could still happen.
