11 that I'm interesting in...as if my backlog wasn't enough...

Some are pretty substantial games as well. VC4, Shining Resonance, and Okami HD are likely to take some time. Pokemon will probably have most of my attention towards the end of the year as well.

Many for me.

2 are digital only and are already preloaded (MMX), 1 has to be imported (MM11) and only 2 are remotely Nintendo owned IP. (Smash/PLGP)

Then there is the game I already own (Toad), a game I'm curious about but has no date (DS) and a few things not on that list like Morphies Law and Freedom Planet.

And the last one is Sonic which is nebulous in quality.

Ugh all I see in that slide show is my dwindling bank account. I'm trying to budget so I can spend more money on IT certs though, so only Taiko, Octopath and Okami HD this month for me. I really really want blazeblue, but I have it on pc until I scrap the cash for the game and the dlc. I need to loop back and round out my JPN 3ds purchases though. That way I can put the system on a shelf and not worry about it till I work down the switch backlog.

You can buy Japanese E-shop card for Japanese 3DS / Wii U / Switch.

Btw, i had found if in my country, there were a shop that sold Japanese e-shop codes. A bit pricey but at least i can order them by phone.

@kobashi100 I've always liked play asia. They are running a summer sale now so the e-shop cards don't have the 2 dollar mark up (or currency conversion I suppose). Just snagged two 5000 yen cards, got the codes instantly and have already spent the money. lol.

One of my favourite graphical glitches from Ys VIII so far:

Through this entire area, if Hummel was in a cutscene or in any kind of weary animations during gameplay, his polygons from his face....extended....greatly.

No, this doesn't mean it's bad or a bad port. Just a funny glitch for one area of the game, in one circumstance, for one character that you dont need to use or even do this scenario.

@EvilLucario I've also seen some weird shadow stuff in the background like the cutscene after you meet Sahad.

There are a lot of things I'm surprised weren't caught in this game...

@Knuckles-Fajita, Hummel didn't do that to me during that section of the game, so maybe it's a case by case thing, or somewhat rare to trigger?

So the Switch version of Ys VIII is pretty much the Switch equivalent of Sonic 06?
