@JaxonH Yeah, that's definitely true. I do feel like PS4 is the one most people gravitate towards, but to say it's objectively the best is pretty dumb. It's the same as saying horror is the best movie genre or something. Different strokes for different folks and all.

@Tsurii Thanks for that bit of info. No reason to wait for the Gold edition to drop in price in that case.

Is the Gold Edition of Mario + Rabbids will Always have Golden frame and Golden sky for USA version ?

@Tsurii It got as low as €32 earlier this year, so I expect a similar price later this year. I'm in no hurry though. I'm taking a short break. I've finished around 6 games back to back, and I'm still working on the Splatoon DLC.

I've seen Mario + Rabbids for as low as 20€ in Finland. It's currently 24€ on CDON.

Walking Dead Season 1 and 2 are listed for switch. (Season 2 also has a boxart!)

The Famitsu article about Smash has me thinking, how well would the Switch do during the holidays if Smash got delayed to 2019. Of course if it needs more time, I'd much rather it got delayed but wondering if Pokemon Let's Go by itself would be enough.

For me, between Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition, Xenoblade 2 NG+ and Xenoblade 2 Torna will be more than enough for the fall/winter so while I will buy Smash at launch a delay wouldn't be particularly disappointing.

At first I thought it was the cap thing, because taking it off helped, so I bumped my old thread to talk about it. But then it came back, turns out it was dust inside. Thankfully I had an air can (whatever you call them, for dusting electronics, lol)...still buying a new joycon just because. Maybe the problem will come back again, because it's not perfect, but it'll do for now.

Still no update on my 5.1 sound bar, still waiting on the splitter to make it work. I'll let you know how awesome MHXX sounds with it. lol

@KirbyTheVampire @JaxonH to be fair to the ponies, the xbone was an absolute dog. It was a laughable joke even less competitive than wiiu in a lot of respects. The discounting of xbox was honestly correct. Ps4 was the only reasonable console for non Nintendo type games. The ps4 fans were right.

It wasn't until the s and x the x1 finally joined the race... Very late in the gen, but they finally showed a quality platform. Trouble is those sony die hards refuse to see it.

Personally if i had to choose one of have a hard time. There's things i like about the ecosystens of both and I love Sony games. Otoh virtually everything about all other games are better on x1x to me. Personally i feel like ps4 is better for physical gamers overall with better handling of smaller downloads somewhat, and a very traditional console environment......x1x is way better for digital gamers....ps4 feels almost Nintendo levels of backwardness where digital is concerned. But honestly with download sizes, I'm not sure if be happy with x1x as a physical gamer and limited bandwidth. But otherwise it does not things better with most games... Except those missing exclusives..... Yet something is inviting about ps4s "feel"

Huh... It looks like that Hotel Transylvania game was was released two weeks early. That’s odd. Did anyone buy that Hotel Transylvania game when it was up on the US EShop? Probably not.

I know what you mean about the "feel". I think it's the interface- it's very logical and orderly. The Xbox interface, despite drastic improvements since launch, is less responsive and not nearly as logical and orderly.

No, I fixed it, the problem is barely there now. lol
I still went ahead and bought a new one though, so even if it came back and got worse I can just use the new one.

....Whut? She has her own money, seriously, my savings account in the bank is for her stuff. Well, stuff like food and litter, sometimes I'll use my main money to buy her something. I'm planning on getting her a cat fountain soon. (one of those small water fountains for cats to drink from)

@JaxonH actually I find the x1(x) interface extremely responsive, and very logical. Moreso than ps4s interface which i find illogically broken up into the main bar, the ugly upper bar, the layers of sub menus, it's a mess. But that's expected to me from a Sony interface. The last Sony appliance I've owned with a sensible ui was a 1989 Walkman . Both x1x and ps4 pro have equally responsive uis. I don't know about og or s, but og ps4 interface was laggy and i imagine xbone was worse.

For me, i hated x1 interface until i realized the X button menu is the "start button" and everything is in the start menu while the home screen is not actually used basically ever. Once i crossed that mental hurdle i learned to love the x1 interface far more than the layers of nests that is ps4. Ps4 has folders... That's a big plus... But it's the only plus and the interface for it is mediocre.

But...

There's something still about using ps4 that feels comfortable. Despite the much worse interface there's a traditionalism about it that appeals to me probably as a Nintendo gamer. Maybe the best way to put it is the x1x interface feels superior, more efficient, more functional, and more productive, but as a result is very srs bsns. Ps4 interface is a train wreck but it's charming and quaint, and a little retro in it's own way and that somehow makes it fun and playful.
