Did anyone here buy Soccer Slammers? I was playing some two-player matches yesterday and was having a problem in that when a goal was scored, the scoring team would sometimes be placed in the wrong half at the kick-off. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Wet and Dry: W6C-N1X-NGG

@OorWullie As of 3 days ago i was certain that Metroid Prime 4 was a late 2019 title with a small chance of it being 2020(never thought for a second it would be 2018 and never understood why some ppl believed so). Now after this year's E3 i'm leaning more towards the 2020 scenario.
Definite purchases:
Mario Tennis Aces (pre-ordered)
Crash Bandicoot trilogy
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (didn't buy it on Wii U)
The World Ends With You
Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee (probably Eevee)
Super Smash Bros Ultimate
Okami HD
Possible purchases:
Octopath Traveler
Go Vacation
Super Mario Party
Mega Man 11
Starlink
Mario + Rabbids DLC
And maaaaybe Ark: Survival Evolved, but I'm not really sure if it's my kind of thing.
I haven't included indies but there are a few I'm interested in including Hollow Knight (haven't bought it yet), Hyper Light Drifter, Bomb Chicken, Just Shapes and Beats (not out in UK yet) and Undertale.
Thank you Nintendo for giving us Donkey Kong Jr Math on Nintendo Music
@Ralizah I have to agree about Captain Toad it just oozes laid back charm. Not sure I'll pick it up again as I did finish it and don't think the little extra content justifies a second purchase, however, I do think it is much better suited to the Switch as its bite sized diorama levels are prefect for pick up and play for twenty minutes on daily commutes so hope it finds a good audience on Switch.
I've got too many 2018 Switch games preordered to list, so I'll stick to the ones I'm most excited about.
Mario Tennis Aces (game is going to be a classic)
Octopath Traveller (most unique throwback JRPG in a decade)
Valkyria Chronicles 4 (one of the best SRPG series ever, and on a hybrid system too? Deal me in)
Shining Resonance (demo is excellent, somehow looks almost as good visually as Tales on PS4)
Tales of Vesperia (one of the all time JRPG greats, yet another top tier JRPG joining the hybrid lineup)
Monster Hunter Gen Ultimate (HD portable Monster Hunter, nuff said)
Okami HD (held off other versions waiting for Switch, and that decision is now paying dividends)
Dark Souls Remastered (it's freaking Dark Souls, in HD on a portable, with game suspend... hype)
The World Ends With You (one of the all time greats, yet again added to the hybrid RPG library)
Dragonball Fighter Z (I knew it was coming- and not a single ounce of compromise either)
Captain Toad (I'm a simple man- give me this over Mario 3D World any day)
Super Smash Bros (truly the ultimate Smash, and now we can play against anyone, anywhere, anytime)
Wolfenstein 2 (one of my fave FPS games I've ever played, now with motion and playable anywhere!)
Mega Man 11 (thank God for Switch- this game is never leaving my side for the rest of my natural life)
Mega Man X Collection _(its Mega Man X... in HD... on a handheld... Exactly. Let's move on)
Y's VIII (did I mention the all star hybrid RPG lineup?)
Starlink (the Starfox game I've been waiting on for years- this game really does look amazing)
SNK Heroines (definitely my style of fighting game- all women, not overly complex, still lots of depth)
Trials Rising (because, well... I love Trials)
Pokémon Let's Go (the first Pokémon game to ever truly excite me)
Team Sonic Racing (along with Mario Kart 8, the two best cart racers playable anywhere with anyone)
Of course, I'm also getting V-Rally, Pillars of Eternity 2, Crash Bandicoot Trilogy, SNK Collection, My Hero One's Justice, Ark Survival Evolved, PixArk, Victor Vran, De Blob, Titan Quest, Little Dragons Cafe, Code of Princess, etc.
And there's 2 or 3 PS4 games I'll grab this year, and 2 or 3 X1 games.
Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions
Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1/2
Sonic Mania Plus
Captain Road Treasure Tracker
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu
Mega Man 11
@JaxonH
Just curious.
With so many games you want to buy, it will cost approximate more than $ 600.
Where did you get a lot of money to buy those games ?
My salary every month just enough to buy 3 - 4 games.
Switch (July - December 2018)
1. Yonder the Cloud Catcher Chronicles
2. Mario Tennis Aces
3. Penguin Wars
4. Go Vacation
5. Overcooked 2
6. Nintendo LABO Toy Con 01 Variety kit
7. Super Mario Party
8. Little Dragon Cafe
9. Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu
Still Waiting for confirmation
1. Re:Legend
2. My Time at Portia
3. Catastronaut
4. Hyper Sports R
5. Fit Boxing
OK, so here's my list. There should be more games in the first category, but alas I have a combination of financial limits and an unbearably huge backlog to thank. Oh well, at the end of the day I really can't see how people can claim that the Switch isn't getting notable games this year.
Oh yeah, I'm definitely getting...
1. Mario Tennis Aces
2. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
I've already pre-ordered these two, so for sure I'm getting them on their respective release dates.
Maybe not day one, but I have my eyes on...
1. Octopath Traveller
2. Team Sonic Racing (I'm really hyped for this one, actually)
3. Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy
4. Mega Man 11
5. Okami HD
6. Dragon Ball FighterZ (if it's an easy to play but hard to master kind of thing, then yes. I'm very interested)
7. Pokemon Let's Go Eevee
8. Starlink: Battle For Atlas
9. Super Mario Party
Yep, I'm definitely putting a couple of games in the second category on my Christmas list, alongside Spiderman, God of War, and maybe Detroit: Become Human.
Despite the ho-hum E3 conferences, I'm actually very happy with the lineup for the rest of the year across multiple platforms.
Hey everyone, I just started using my Switch and I have a question I'd appreciate if you all could answer. How is the WiFi connection range for your Switch? Is it similar to another game console's (such as a Wii U) or your smartphone's? In other words, if there are 3 bars on the smartphone/game console, is the Switch also showing 3 bars or does it show less than 3? My iPhone X and my Wii U show 3 bars while my Switch (in the same area as the other two) fluctuates from 0 to 2 bars, which has gotten me kicked out of the majority of Splatoon 2 online matches I played so far.
Is my Switch defective, or is this something that is a problem with all Switches?
@EvilLucario So this is a common problem? The strange thing is that I got my Switch in April 2018. You'd think after a year they'd fix any issues with the WiFi chip.
