That was...aight. Switch got shafted beyond a 30 second trailer for Octopath. No Dragon Quest Builders 2 news, no ports, and Dragon Quest XI isn't coming to Switch lets be real.
I though theyd announce at least something for the system but...nope. Oh well.

If the MS conference didn't happen I think Nintendo would be primed to steal the show, but as it is? Smash isn't gonna come anywhere close to something like DMC5 or Cyberpunk.
FIFA 19, NBA 2K19, Tales of Vesperia, Elder Scrolls Legends, Fallout Shelter, Octopath Traveler are the games highlighted at this E3 from third parties.
I think we may have plateaued as Ubisoft is likely to only show Starlink, and then its just Nintendo and...I think...hm.
EA has basically said lolno even after everything, dunno what I expected. Square...is dodging Dragon Quest Builders 2, various ports, projects we know they are making like the one from the Chrono Trigger guy and DQ11 just isn't happening at this point.
I am also kinda wondering whats in store for the system because as odd as it sounds it feels like past this year, we are heading into Wii U territory. This year as is looks fine, Ys, Wolfenstein, Vesperia, Team Sonic Racing...but beyond that....I...it's not rosy.

@Zuljaras
I have at least 24 Switch titles in Physical release based on my shopping list. Right now i owned 17 games and the amount will keep increasing.
I have combination of 1st / 3rd / Indies / Ports on my list.
You will get a lot of good games from Switch, you will not regret to have Nintendo Switch.
Pachter is saying the recent stock hit was from Switch not outselling PS4 in April and he forsees it not hitting 20m. In fact he expects only 10m this year WITH a price cut.
Jesus christ the world just turned on this thing

@Knuckles-Fajita "I am also kinda wondering whats in store for the system because as odd as it sounds it feels like past this year, we are heading into Wii U territory."
We are? What gives you that impression? I think the Switch is doing great. There are dozens of games a month releasing, not .5.
"Pachter"
Well there's your problem. When has that guy ever been right? 10m with a price cut? In a year with Pokemon and Smash? They could RAISE the price $50 and still sell 20m.
Certainly can't watch any of these conferences without noticing the stark lack of Switch releases. For games like KHIII, that's fine, as it has been in development for a long time and they said it might come later. I mean, that's unfortunate, but it's just the way things are. But now we're seeing a lot of newly developed titles, and they still aren't coming to the Switch.
@Knuckles-Fajita Lol "the world" hasn't turned on anything. Why are you freaking out, exactly? Switch is still selling well, support is not going to disappear overnight
@TheLobster Switch is doing great with games now, but these announcements for games coming up...yeah. Its easy to see whats missing rather than whats not.
@MisterPi No but it seems to be disappearing as Bethesda and others start next gen games. I figured the system would at least have some ports left in it but as this E3 goes hope you like mobile games.
Speaking of, if that Fortnite datamine is accurate, guess what version of that is coming? Yup. Mobile.
Im freaking out because mental illness makes it VERY easy for me to be depressed or anxious.

Wii U territory. Come on dude, that's a ridiculous statement. I think you have forgotten how bad the Wii U era was.
@kobashi100 Its rampant pessimism and mental illness I'm afraid. When in a depressive rut its hard to get out, but thats my life currently with caring for an ill relative and being unemployed!

The biggest difference between now and the Wii U era is the 1st party situation thanks to Nintendo realizing Wii U ports is a very good thing. While the 3rd party situation is better compared to this point in the Wii U era, "next gen" came faster back then (1 year after launch rather than what's seeming like 3.5 years after launch).
Please stop saying Dragon Quest XI isn't coming to Switch based on zero evidence and in defiance of them reiterating over SIX TIMES the game is coming.
@Knuckles-Fajita I see plenty of games coming out personally and if there isn't a lot filled in for 2018 I say wait until this time tomorrow and come back. Nintendo is holding back their lineup to a ridiculous degree but I don't think that spells doom and gloom; actually I would rather that than have a Rage 2 situation where their games are spoiled months or years in advance.
