You know what I mean. If you could pick any 5 third party games that have not received a Switch port and magically add them to it's library, what would you choose. Mine are mostly last gen or earlier, but I would pick Fallout 3, Red Dead Redemption, Portal 2, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. Just on the outside would be Fallout: New Vegas, Portal, and Red Dead Redemption 2 (yeah, I'm an obvious person in my series tastes). What say you?
My top 5 which could never happen as they are exclusives are:-
Gears of War
The Last of Us
God of War
Halo
Shadow of the Colossus
My top 5 which in theory could happen:-
Red Dead Redemption 1 and/or 2
GTA V
Mass Effect trilogy
an NHL game - I've never been a big fan of sports games, but a hockey game appeals to me even though I don't watch the NHL!
Cyberpunk 2077
Radiant Silvergun
Panzer Dragoon Saga
Skies of Arcadia
The Orange Box
Beyond Good & Evil
Switch Physical Collection - 1,247 games (as of April 15th, 2024)

Modern games that I'd really like to see but might be difficult to achieve technically are FF7 Remake, Nier Automata and DMC5.
I'd love Sega in particular to bring back some old games (Space Channel 5, Skies of Aracadia, Jet Set Radio, Shenmue). Other misc. games include Tomb Raider (both the classics and the reboot), Beyond Good and Evil, the 3D Rayman games, Rare Replay.
The legend of heroes series (Cold steel 1+2, crossbelt games and trails in the sky trilogy)
Persona series
yakuza series
farcry 3 (maybe 4 aswell)
Tokyo xanadue ex (hidden gem on the ps4 and pc)
1. Persona 4 Golden (Seems a bit realistic, already playing 5R on my PS4)
2. Dragon Age Trilogy
3. Tale of Wuxia (A Chinese RPG available on Steam, pretty great)
4. Pathfinder Kingmaker (There were talks of a Switch port but it somehow disappeared)
5. Fire Emblem remasters/Trails of Cold Steel Series.
Probably something like this:
1. Rare Replay
2. Ori and the Will of the Wisps
3. Call of Duty Modern Warfare trilogy
4. Batman Arkham Trilogy
5. XCOM Enemy Unknown
Fallout New Vegas
Kingdom Hearts (at least the 3 main games)
Persona 4 and 5
Halo 1-3 and Reach (lol, I know, I know, it almost certainly will never happen)
Mass Effect Trilogy
Shout-out for an Advance Wars collection, but that's not a 3rd party.

GTA V! I mean come on if they're willing to milk this cow the way they have with PS3, PS4 and now PS5 versions why not switch? Too violent and vulgar for the kiddies? Is rockstar just too lazy or is GTA just too sacred to ever be on a Nintendo home console? What gives?
Also Dark souls 2 and 3 would be nice.

There were GTA games on the Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance, so it's not like they've never been on a Nintendo device before!
Plus is GTA V much worse than Bioshock, Doom and Wolfenstien?!
If Nintendo are blocking it I think that would be silly, I wonder if it would be a system seller or has it past that point now?
@MarioBrickLayer I also would have thought GTAV is past being a system seller by now - but then it pops up in Sony’s presentation for the flipping PS5!
I have zero interest in GTA any more - last one I played was San Andreas, which was very good but I didn’t finish because I had grown fatigued with the formula. However, GTAV would still sell bucketloads on Switch by virtue of being the only handheld version.
@Goldenboy - I would love to see Jedi Fallen Order on Switch. Just knock down the resolution, keep the frame rate stable - I would definitely get it. EA needs to address the massive Switch user base it is mostly ignoring.
I would take any of the best open world games out there (e.g. Red Dead, GTA, Watch_Dogs) but other than that I just want new games. I kinda preferred it back when you associated a certain game with a certain platform or generation. Feels like all we're seeing now is old games, many, many of which I've already bought (if not necessarily played). It's not so bad when done properly (e.g. Metro Redux, The Witcher 3, both of which I bought), but however good the other ports may be, I can't help feeling I'm getting fleeced when a 10 year old game is released at full price and doesn't even come all on a cartridge.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
