@BabyYoshi65 I know it's not a switch game, but bit trip saga on 3 DS ( I think there is a different one on switch ) it's 20 euro and it really is not very good. It would put me off playing computer games forever ? That's how bad it is.
I would say the below aren't super popular, but are very much worth buying.
Ys VIII - Really good RPG so far(only played a few hours, got it this week in the eshop sale). It's kinda like if you blended Skies of Arcadia's island development bit, with a tales game.
Return of the Obra Dinn - A really unique game, where you play as an insurance investigator piecing together what happened to a ships crew. You basically go through a series of memories and try to figure out who killed who and how. It very much feels like you're solving the games mystery, in the same way you'd solve a sudoku puzzle.
@kkslider5552000 I don’t know about Carnival Games, but I don’t think Minecraft: Story Mode did well on the Switch. It was popular on mobile, but it was actually removed from the Switch eShop, so I’m assuming it didn’t. I think Carnival Games did do well, but I don’t know anybody else who has it. I also didn’t know about it until I got it.
1. Portal Knights PS4/Switch
Not so many peoples know about this game due to being overshadowed by Minecraft. There is Portal Knights community on Steam since the game released first on Steam.
2. Sumikko Gurashi Atsumare Sumikkotown (Switch)
Only peoples who have interest with Japanese stuff like this game.
3. Dillon's Dead Heat Breakers 3DS
Not even one people here talking about this game. Not even one except me.
Forgotten Nintendo IP despite it has physical release on Japan and PAL.
I like the concept of Amiimals (turn your Mii into Anthromorphic animals) and the mini games.
The game itself can be very frustrating on some level especially when the Grocks evolved into Final form and they will run to Barracks very brutal.
@BabyYoshi65 I mean, what exactly qualifies as unpopular? Are we just talking sales numbers or some other standard? Cause there are games that have sold well but have a cult following of haters - Pokemon SW/SH for example. And there are games that have modest sales numbers but pretty die hard fans, the Disgaea games or Night in the Woods come to mind.
I've got over a hundred games on Switch at this point and I'd say I like pretty much all of them. Only a tiny tiny handful of disappointments.
But I've learned that on the internet There's always someone who hates what you love, and will hate you for liking it.

@Heavyarms55 When I created the thread, I had envisioned games that not a lot of people know about/own, but you can choose what ‘unpopular’ means to you.
Heigh Ho Heigh Ho. It’s off to work (from home) I go.
@BabyYoshi65 I played and completed the single player campaign in Meow Motors. The drifting has a very loose feel compared to MK8, but once you get used to it, I had fun. This is not a premium game, but it was charming enough to hold my interest for 10 hours. I might be the only one on NL that liked it
@BabyYoshi65 Ah, in that case I would go with Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs. Not very well known that I can see, but a fun game with pretty entertaining writing and humor. I can think of only one time outside of the review that I saw anyone talking about it.
