I bought for my son's birthday a Nintendo Switch almost just for playing Fortnite. Since than ( it was the beginning of October ) I have not been able to find an headset that works properly. I went to Best Buy, to Source and other shops dedicated to gaming, NO ONE was able to give me a proper solution. We changed 3 headset and still we are dealing with the same problem ! The mic one day works and another day no, like this, with no reason. We tried both USB and "jack" headset.
I refuse to spend more than 200$ for a wireless headset to use in a chat especially not knowing if they work or not, and on top of that most of the shop have a no return policy for headsets.
But How the hell this is possible ?
Can someone give me a solution please ?
Thanks
Sorry, but the Switch is not fully compatible with voice chat. There is no official Switch headset, but Turtle Beach headsets seem to be most compatible for some reason.

Did you search on here there where topics cover this already for headsets with mic. I do know Turtle Beach 450 works and they mentioned it works for fortnite and if docked plug the USB transceiver into the Dock and use it that way as well and they have a Mobile cable to allow you to plug into the Switch as well. So just do a search and you will find topics on this.
The Turtle Beach 600's work well with the Switch, even though they are designed for use on the PS4. Had the headset around 4 months now, no problems as of yet.
