I'm glad that all of the animals — even horses and dogs — can die. Invincible horsies would be a very Nintendo thing to do, so I'm glad they went full 'everything is killable with essential NPCs' Skyrim with it. I wonder if NPCs can die as well? Like, can you go full bow-strap GTA on Kakariko? And, c'mon.

@Octane Huh, interesting. Nonetheless, for things that late game, I'd rather wait to find their beginning.

You can see a blue rupee for just a sec in the new Polygon video. Apparently they're giving everyone demo access to the beginning of the game after the Great Plateau, so we're in for another round of that.

That means avoiding as much gameplay as possible from now on.

Why isn't this game in a Switch bundle again?

I have no idea. I'm shocked that either this or 1, 2 Switch isn't a pack-in. What else do they think people are buying the thing for? More like $360 MSRP.

Anyway, there's something interesting going on on the mountain just the north and adjacent to the Plateau. I'm heading north to find the zoras, now.

Or if you're running low on health, you can turn it into steaks >

@Octane Huh? No, I'm just watching the footage.

I have no idea why 1 2 Switch isn't, but I competely understand why BotW isn't a bundle. They're certain it can sell well enough on its own. Heck, Nintendo's not only going to get everyone to pay full price for this game, but they're gonna get a decent chunk of them to buy it for over twice its normal value with easy to produce (yet awesome) collectibles. If they merely bundled this with the Switch at a reduced price, they'd miss out on a huge opportunity for revenue.

In my mind I already am XD. But yeah, I see how that could be misconstrued. Sorry to disappoint, I was referring to my plan when I first sit down with it come March 3rd.

In the meantime, I have 7 weeks left to figure out how I'm going to play Horizon and Zelda at the same time.

@whodatninja I guess it depends on what you consider a spoiler. From the trailer, I wouldn't be able to tell you how the plot pieces together, unless I just guessed based on past conventions. Here's what I might be able to come up with

• Zelda is sad about something. Possibly about something she did.
• Calamity Ganon's been around for a while.
• You've got to defend Zelda (big surprize)
• You shake hands with a shark man.

I'm half convinced that all the bits with Zelda are actually flashbacks from "100 years ago".

I was thinking the same because of how theres the line that says "Its time to tell you what happened a hundred years ago" and then they start showing Zelda.
