@Octane That is no question. Horizon's big coming out trailer does not compare to Breath of the Wild's full stop.
Like, lots of tree foliage and lighting is nice, but Zelda is going to play strictly superiorly to that game that also has an open world, horse-riding, hunting, crafting, archery, and much less of a developed melee combat system.
at 1:52. That guy has the sheikah symbol on his mask! Are you fighting a sheikah?
2:05, that's a gerudo camp. Look at the flag!
2:11, Just noticed the Great Deku Tree.
2:38, Looks like its not exactly like TP's castle town. But seeing the guardians overrun it made me gaze in awe!
2:49, Listen closely!! The music just subtly quoted the main theme from the first trailer! -do do te sol
also in 0:23, 0:43, 1:14
3:05, she looks all smudged, but in a similar way to the master sword!
3:11, link looks smudged in the same way, too.
3:20, All the smudges!
Also, everything in this trailer is english, so you can here the English voice actors.
That trailer...wow. 8D I'm glad that Zoras and Gorons are returning, there were so many awesome visuals, the barest hint of a story, emotions, horses, beauty....
Is is March 3rd yet?!
Currently playing: Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires' Conspiracy (Switch)
They really did show almost nothing about this game up until that trailer it seems.
So glad there seems to be a dramatic story though. Was worried they were gonna just go all Skyrim with it.
This really looks like one of the biggest things Nintendo have ever made!
I'm updating all my findings on post 9021, but since you all probably haven't noticed, I'd like to point out something. In 2:49, the music subtly quotes the main theme from the first trailer! -do do te sol
Oh, and again in 0:23! sol do do te sol
Oh, and again in 0:43 in the oboe!
Oh, and at 1:14 in the piano!
And then again in the soprano...
Okay, I'll stop listing them
Please, give due respect to the incredible horn line in 0:50!
My only concern is if she ends up being too whiny and helpless. You'd think from the way she dresses that she can hold her own, though.
Speaking of Zelda, did you notice that span of a mere second when Zelda's face barely but noticably goes through three emotions? At 3:07
Compared to past Zelda games, the emotional detail of the faces seems to be ten times better.
